Beef Kofta Kebabs | Slimming & Weight Watchers Friendly image

There isn't much we love more than a kebab. We came up with these slimming friendly Beef Kofta Kebabs when we were developing a donner kebab, and they are lush!

Number Of Ingredients 12

500 g 5% fat lean minced beef
1 medium onion (very finely chopped)
1 handful fresh parsley (very finely chopped)
3 cloves garlic (very finely chopped)
1 cm ginger (very finely chopped)
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground allspice
1 egg
low calorie cooking spray

Steps:

  • Place all the ingredients, except the egg, into a non-reactive bowl and mix well.
  • Crack in the egg and mix well to combine.
  • Take a small handful of the mixture and form into a sausage.
  • Thread the skewer through the sausage and place on a tray. Once you've done them all, place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Heat your BBQ or oven to 180°C.
  • Spray your kebabs with low calorie cooking spray and place in the BBQ or oven for 20-30 minutes until cooked through.
