HUSBAND'S DELIGHT
There's already a recipe here with the same name, but this one serves more and the ingredients are a little different. Very good! Prep time is approximate. Cook time includes browning the beef.

Steps:
- Brown ground beef, bell peppers, and garlic together and drain.
- Cook noodles as directed then drain.
- Add noodles, sugar, and tomato sauce to ground beef and stir.
- Combine sour cream, cottage cheese, cream cheese, and chopped onion.
- Put into a 3-quart casserole dish a layer of noodles and meat, then a layer of cheese mixture.
- Add the last of meat and noodle mixture.
- Last of all add grated cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add the tomatoes with juice, salt and sugar and simmer for 15 minutes.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese and onion and mix well. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, place half of the egg noodles, then all of the meat mixture, then the cream mixture. Top with the remaining noodles and sprinkle with the cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes.

This is one of my top requested recipes from my family. It's my son-in-law's favorite meal. I serve it with corn and garlic bread. The original recipe called for 10oz of the noodles, but I found that to be way too much pasta for the sauce.

Steps:
- Start water to boil for noodles and cook according to pkg. directions.
- In bowl; mix cream cheese, sour cream and onions; set aside. Brown meat and drain. Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce to beef. Stir noodles into beef mixture. Spoon beef and noodles into casserole dish and top with sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 350 until heated through, approximately 20 minutes.

- Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, cook beef, onion, green pepper and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain., Stir in the tomato sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Drain noodles; stir into sauce. Pour half the beef mixture into a 13x9-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray., In a small bowl, combine the cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and green onions. Spread over beef mixture. This recipe should be called family delight because it's a hearty casserole the whole family will love. A basic casserole recipe every busy person should have their recipe box. Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
- 2. Brown ground beef with onions. Drain. Wipe out the skillet. Put the beef and onions back in the skillet along with the spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5-6 minutes.
- 3. Cook pasta according to package directions (I like to cook mine al dente). Drain pasta and put it into the casserole dish.
- 4. Mix the cream cheese and sour cream in a small bowl.
- 5. Spread this over the pasta.
- 6. Then spread the meat sauce on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- 7. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- 8. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
