Categories     Low Protein

Time 45m

Yield 18 paper plates

Number Of Ingredients 3

20 lbs white sugar
1 quart water
1 tablespoon white vinegar

Steps:

  • Put 1 quart of water and vinegar in big pot bring to a boil. When it comes to a boil add 10lbs of sugar bring this to a boil. Then add the other 10lbs of sugar, bring this to a boil. (its a bubbly boil) let it boil for 5 minutes. (You also want to make sure the sugar is dissolved as much as possible.) Pour immediately into molds. If you let it set to long after the 5 minutes the candy will come out lumpy. Please have your molds set up before you start. This recipe takes around 45 minutes.
  • Also you want to adjust your heat accordingly, not to burn the mixture.
