TEDDY BEAR COOKIE POPS

You'll "bearly" get to ask, "What's your favorite cookie?" and kids will pop up with these "beary" best cookie pops!

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon water
1 egg
12 wooden sticks with rounded ends
24 flat round candies (1/2 inch in diameter)
12 Hershey's® Kisses® brand milk chocolates, unwrapped
1 tube (0.68) Betty Crocker™ red decorating gel

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, oil, water and egg until soft dough forms.
  • Shape dough into 12 balls, using 1 1/2 tablespoons dough for each. Place balls about 4 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Shape remaining dough into 24 balls, using 1 teaspoon dough for each.
  • Insert stick into side of each large ball; place 2 small balls next to each large ball for ears. Press balls evenly until about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • Add 2 flat candies on each cookie for eyes and 1 milk chocolate candy for nose, using gel to attach. Squeeze on gel for mouth.

1 pouch Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix
2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
24 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)
Betty Crocker™ Cookie Icing in desired colors
1/4 cup Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors multicolored candy sprinkles

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, flour, butter and egg until dough forms. Shape dough into a ball; flatten slightly. Wrap dough in plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
  • Heat oven to 375°F. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with 3-inch party hat-shaped cookie cutter. On ungreased cookie sheets, place cutouts 2 inches apart. Insert 1 craft stick halfway into center of each cookie.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely. Decorate cookies with icing and candy sprinkles. Let stand until set.

1 cup sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
20 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)
1 package (16 oz) chocolate-flavored candy coating
Betty Crocker™ chocolate candy sprinkles, if desired
40 small gumdrops, if desired
1 bag (9 oz) candy-coated chocolate candies, if desired
60 Betty Crocker™ red cinnamon decors or ready-to-eat cereal pieces, if desired

Steps:

  • In large bowl, beat sugar, butter, vanilla and egg with spoon until smooth. Stir in flour and cocoa. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  • Heat oven to 375°F. Shape dough into 20 (1-inch) balls and 20 (3/4-inch) balls. To make each cookie, on ungreased cookie sheet, arrange 1 large ball and 1 small ball with sides touching. Insert about 1 1/2 inches of wooden stick through center of 1-inch ball and into smaller ball. Press floured bottom of glass on dough until about 1/4 thick. Place pairs of dough balls about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • Place waxed paper on tray. Melt candy coating as directed on package. Spoon coating over cookies; place on waxed paper. Sprinkle with chocolate candy sprinkles. Add gumdrops for ears. Add chocolate candies for hands and feet. Add cinnamon candies for eyes and nose.

3 tablespoons coarse white sparkling sugar
48 miniature marshmallows
1 pouch (7 oz) Betty Crocker™ Decorating Cookie Icing chocolate icing

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, mix cookie mix, flour, melted butter and egg until soft dough forms.
  • Shape into 24 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown on edges. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  • Using knife, spread 1 teaspoon frosting on cookie. Immediately sprinkle sugar evenly over frosting. Slightly flatten 2 miniature marshmallows, and press on cookie for ears. Using chocolate icing, pipe eyes, nose and mouth on cookie. Repeat with remaining cookies.

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 egg
Green food color
12 wooden sticks with rounded ends
1/2 tub Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy ready-to-spread frosting (any white variety)
Assorted decorations, as desired (see ideas below)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Stir cookie mix, butter, flour and egg in medium bowl until dough forms. Divide dough in half. Stir green food color, a drop at a time, into part of dough used to make Christmas Trees until desired color is reached. Roll dough on floured surface until about 1/4 inch thick. Cut green dough with 3 1/2- to 5-inch Christmas tree cookie cutter; cut white dough with 3 1/2- to 5-inch snowman cookie cutter. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Carefully insert a wooden stick into bottom of each cookie.
  • Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Decorate as directed below. Christmas Trees: Leave frosting white OR stir a few drops green food color into frosting if desired; spread baked cookies with frosting. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Press tiny candies into frosting for tree decorations. To make star for top of tree, flatten large yellow gumdrop by rolling with rolling pin; cut into star shape with sharp knife. Place on cookie. Snowmen: Spread baked cookies with frosting. To make hat, flatten large black gumdrop by rolling with rolling pin; cut into hat shape with sharp knife. Place on cookie. To make scarf, cut long strip from any red variety Betty Crocker Fruit by the Foot® chewy fruit snack roll; cut small slits into ends of scarf with scissors to look like fringe. Place around neck of snowman. Use raisins or candy for eyes, nose and buttons. Attach small unwrapped candy cane to snowman.
