My sister sent me this recipe raving about how good these squares were. They taste exactly like a chocolate bar we used to buy as kids called a 5 Star Bar. Hope you like them as much as we do.

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

1/4 cup margarine, melted
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups unsweetened coconut or 2 cups sweetened coconut
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 aero chocolate candy bars
1/4 cup cooking oil (I use Crisco)

Steps:

Mix the margarine, cracker crumbs, coconut, condensed milk and vanilla together; press into an ungreased 9 x 9 pan.
Bake in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 minutes.
For the icing, in a microwave proof bowl break up bars into smaller chunks, add to oil.
Microwave for 1 minute or longer until the chocolate melts.
Stir and carefully spread over squares.
Store squares in the refrigerator.
Can also be frozen.

Ingredients

2 cups butterscotch chips
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
8 cups Rice Krispies
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons water

Steps:

Melt butterscotch chips and peanut butter together.
Stir in cereal, and press 1/2 of mixture into a 9x13, or smaller, cake pan. Put in fridge.
Combine and melt chocolate chips, powdered sugar, butter, and water. Spread over top of refrigerated cereal mixture.
Add remaining 1/2 of cereal mixture, and gently press down on top of chocolate layer.
Chill.

½ cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
⅓ cup rolled oats
1 cup milk chocolate chips
½ cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M's®)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 8x8-inch baking pan.
Cream together butter and brown sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and sea salt together. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the butter/sugar mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Stir in creamy peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips, and candy-coated chocolates. Spread mixture evenly in prepared baking pan.
Bake until set, 25 to 27 minutes. Allow to fully cool before cutting into bars.
