Time 25m

Yield 24 Cookies, 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 bananas, ripe

2 cups quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
  • For each cookie, spoon about 2 tablespoons of cookie mixture (or more depending on how big you want the cookie) onto the cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • **IF batter seems a little dry, add a little milk to moisten.
  • Variations: Instead of chocolate chips add raisins or craisins. Chopped walnuts are great in these cookies. Or, try coconut oil instead of canola oil.

BANANA-OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE | MYRECIPES
The recipe was easy to follow, and I will definitely make these again. kaybeeFLA Rating: 2 stars. 08/30/2009. Made these to use up a very ripe banana and while they are okay, I thought they turned out a bit dry. I also found the banana bread similarity and I think if I made them again, I would use walnuts instead to emphasize that. They could be good "banana bread" cookies. …
