This banana sundae dessert is sure to be a family favorite! You get a taste of chocolate, banana and strawberries in every bite of the frosty treat. It does take a while to assemble, but it's worth it in my book. -Caroline Wamelink, Cleveland Heights, Ohio

GRILLED BANANA BROWNIE SUNDAES
My niece Amanda Jean and I have a lot of fun in the kitchen creating different dishes. One of us will start with a recipe idea and it just grows from there-and so does the mess. In this case, the happy result was our Grilled Banana Brownie Sundae. -Carol Farnsworth, Greenwood, Indiana

- Melt your chocolate in a microwave safe dish, I melt for 30 seconds on high, turn the piece of chocolate over then melt another 30 seconds.
- Now melt your fluff in the microwave for 20 seconds, it will rise, when you take it out of the microwave do not stir it just spread it on the banana as quickly as you can. Then drizzle your melted chocolate over the banana (I just use a small spoon) another option would be to place the chocolate piece (or chocolate chips) in a small ziplock bag and melt in the microwave, cut off a tiny tip to help drizzle on the banana.
- Sprinkle with graham crumbs, I crush up one graham cracker square and use just a very small amount of it, the rest will save well for your next treat :)

- Cut through the peel on the inside curve of the banana with a paring knife. Peel the banana open from the cut, but leave the banana in the peel. Being careful not to cut through the bottom peel, cut the banana in half lengthwise; then cut crosswise in 1/4-inch intervals. Gently mash the marshmallows into the banana, then top with chocolate chips.
- Tear off a 12-inch square of heavy-duty foil. Place the prepared banana in the middle of the foil. Crimp the foil closed.
- Prepare a campfire and let it burn down to the coals. Cook the packet 4 to 6 inches above the coals until the s'more is warm and melty, 7 to 10 minutes. Use graham crackers for scooping.

- While the kunafa is still semi-frozen, break it between your hands to crumble into small pieces. Kunafa shreds easiest when semi-frozen.
- In a large pan (the larger the better) over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the shredded kunafa and stir well until evenly coated with the butter. Alternatively, in a large bowl (off heat), rub melted butter into the kunafa with your hands, then tranfer to the pan.
- Cook the kunafa, stirring constantly until it starts to show the first signs of golden color; about 5 minutes.* Once it reaches a blonde shade, add in the sugar and stir well to coat. The sugar should start to melt and caramelize around the kunafa. Continue stirring, being careful not to get any burn marks, until the kunafa is evenly golden brown in color, and is very crunchy; about 5 more minutes.
- Add in the cinnamon and stir to combine. Transfer the kunafa crumbs to a bowl and allow to cool completely before using. Cooled caramelized kunafa will keep well, covered tightly with plastic wrap for about a week. Meanwhile, make the salted caramel sauce.
