BANANA AND PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS

Banana and Peanut Butter Dog Treats image

While the title says dog treats, these treats can also double as a cake decoration or just human treats. I always have to fight off my younger siblings while making them or else there would be no dough left!

Time 50m

Yield 50

Number Of Ingredients 4

aluminum foil
2 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)s ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup all-purpose flour, or more if needed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Place mashed bananas in a bowl. Add peanut butter and flour and mix until thoroughly combined. If dough feels too sticky to handle, mix in more flour; do not exceed 2 tablespoons.
  • Scoop a small amount of dough and place onto a lightly floured surface. Roll dough to an even thickness of your preference, rotating after each roll and adding flour as needed to avoid sticking. Dust cookie cutters lightly in flour. Cut dough into desired shapes and transfer to the prepared cookie sheet. Roll and cut remaining dough.
  • Bake in batches in the preheated oven until golden brown and firm, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Banana Dog Treats image

3-ingredient homemade dog treats made with old-fashioned rolled oats, natural peanut butter, and banana. Perfect for your pups and human-friendly, too!

Provided by Flora & Vino

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 1/2 cups gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1 large ripe banana (or 2 medium bananas), smashed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Blitz the old-Fashioned rolled oats in a blender until you have a fine flour, or, alternatively, use oat flour instead. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, smash the peanut butter and ripe banana. And the oat flour and smash with a fork until the dough is thick and well combined. If it's crumbly, add 2-4 Tablespoons more peanut butter and recombine. You want the dough to be firm, sticky, and pliable
  • Roll dough into a thin slab, about ~1/4 inch thick, and cut into shapes with a cookie cookie. Alternatively, you can roll them into ~1 Tablespoon balls and flatten with your hands for a simple circular cookie.
  • Bake for ~15 minutes until lightly brown underneath. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before sampling or sharing with your pup!
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!

BANANA OAT DOG TREAT COOKIES RECIPE - (4.2/5)

Banana Oat Dog Treat Cookies Recipe - (4.2/5) image

Provided by judet

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 - 3 large ripened bananas, mashed
2 cups quick cooking oats
1 teaspoon ginger, optional
1 teaspoon, cinnamon, optional
1 tablespoon chia, flax or sesame seeds, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180° C (350° F) and line a cookie tray with parchment paper. In a medium size bowl, mix the bananas and cooking oats together. *Since the size of bananas varies, you may need to add a little extra oatmeal to get a consistency where your cookie dough will hold together. If using optional seeds and spices, add to the mixture and mix through thoroughly. Drop small teaspoon size portions onto the cookie tray. You can either leave portions as they drop onto the cookie tray or flatten them slightly with your fingers, to make small round cookies (I made some of each). Bake for 15 - 20 minutes (Ovens vary). Remove tray from oven and allow cookies to rest on the tray for 5 - 10 minutes. Place cookies to wire cooling rack to cool completely. When cooled, store in a zip lock bag or an air-tight container. They will last longer if stored in refrigerator.

CLEAN BANANA OAT COOKIES

Clean Banana Oat Cookies image

Flour-free and sugar-free cookies naturally sweetened with bananas. You can have great cookies for breakfast or any time of the day without any guilt! A little bonus for me was that my 11-year-old brother loved these, even after they had been in the refrigerator!
