2 ripe bananas, cut
3 tablespoons margarine or 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, spread
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 dash cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 drops vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat the butter until melted on a small pan.
  • Add the sugar, then orange juice.
  • About 1 minutes.
  • Then add the bananas until browned.
  • Do not over cook.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and drops of vanilla.
  • Serve over vanilla ice cream.

I've been making this simple pie for years and have always gotten rave reviews. Great dessert to make in a pinch.

1 graham cracker crust
2 ripe bananas
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
1 (21 ounce) can blueberry pie filling

Steps:

  • Slice the ripe bananas and layer on the bottom of pie crust. Spread whip cream over top of bananas. Pour the topping to make a center circle over top of pie, leaving about a 1-inch space from the edge of pie. Place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
