1 cup mashed banana (about 2 1/2 bananas)

1/2 cup of oats
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Frosting
2 tablespoons of softened butter
3 tablespoons of firmly packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons of milk
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • - Heat oven to 350°F - Combine 1/2 cup butter and 3/4 cup brown sugar in large bowl - Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy - Add bananas, egg, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; continue beating until well mixed (it should be creamy) - Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt - Beat until well mixed - Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets - Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned - Cool completely - Melt 2 tablespoons butter in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat - Add 3 tablespoons brown sugar and milk - Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil (1 to 2 minutes) - Remove from heat - Add powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla; beat until well mixed - Cool slightly - Frost cooled cookies

2 large ripe bananas, smashed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 large egg
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
4 ounce cream cheese, softened
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons milk
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Beat butter and sugars. Mix in the sour cream, bananas, vanilla and egg. Add the remaining ingredients.
  • Use a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Using a small scoop, drop dough onto paper. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool and frost if desired!
  • Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. Spread between two like-sized cookies or on top of each cookie. Add chopped walnuts if desired.

1 cup sugar
½ cup butter
½ cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 bananas (ripened and mashed)
2 eggs
½ cup buttermilk
1½ teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
3¼ cups flour
2 Tablespoons butter (melted)
2 bananas (ripened and smashed)
3 cups powdered sugar ((more or less depending on the consistency that you like))
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cream sugar, butter, shortening, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  • Add bananas and then mix in the eggs.
  • Blend in buttermilk. Add the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not over-beat. It will be a sticky batter. Drop by tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 9-10 minutes, until slightly golden.
  • Cool completely.

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons Butter Flavor Crisco
1/4 cup mashed banana
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 cups confectioners' sugar
finely chopped walnuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Grease baking sheet; set aside.
  • Cream 3/4 cup Crisco and brown sugar in large bowl at medium speed until well blended.
  • Beat in egg.
  • Add one cup mashed banana.
  • Mix until creamy.
  • Combine oats, flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda and nutmeg.
  • Stir into creamed mixture.
  • Mix in one half cup nuts.

1/2 cup butter, melted and if desired browned
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup mashed banana (1 medium banana)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 Tbsp milk
1 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line an 8×8 baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray. Set aside
  • In bowl of stand mixer combine melted (or browned) butter and sugar. Mix until combined. Add in egg and vanilla and continue mixing until incorporated. Stir in salt, flour and banana until batter is smooth and even. Spread in prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until center is set.
  • Transfer pan to wire rack to cool.
  • Frost the blondies when they are mostly cooled.
  • In a medium saucepan melt butter. Add brown sugar and milk and stir until mixture comes to just a boil. Remove from heat, allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in powdered sugar with a whisk.
  • Spread on top of blondies and allow frosting to set and blondies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
