Make a festive-looking appetizer with our Fiesta Baked Cheese Dip. This baked cheese dip features chopped green chiles and a blend of shredded cheeses.

Ingredients

2 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese, divided
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chiles, undrained
1-1/4 cups BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream, divided
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/4 cup chopped red bell peppers
2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro sprigs

Steps:

Heat oven to 350ºF.
Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Reserve 1/4 cup shredded cheese. Add remaining shredded cheese to cream cheese along with the chiles, 1/2 cup sour cream and ground red pepper; mix well.
Spread cream cheese mixture onto bottom of 2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake 20 min. or until dip is heated through and lightly browned around edge. Top with remaining sour cream, reserved shredded cheese, chopped bell peppers and cilantro before serving.

This is a great tasting dip or spread. Serve it with chips or crackers. After it's cooked you can spread a very thin layer of sour cream on top, just enough to help adhere your choice of toppings, such as diced peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, green onion, etc. To make a nice presentation on your Christmas buffet, cut stars out of red and green peppers and spread over the top.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
8 -10 ounces grated cheese (I use 4 cheese Mexican style)
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4-1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (or to taste)

Steps:

Beat cream cheese till light and fluffy.
Stir in all other ingredients and mix well.
Spray a 10-inch pie plate or quiche dish with cooking spray.
Bake about 30 minutes at 350° until edges are lightly browned.
