Easiest Ever Baked Stuffed Apples image

4 McIntosh apples
1/2 lemon
4 tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 cup whole-grain cereal with dried fruit (recommended: Mueslix)
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Trim the tops and scoop out the center and the seeds of each apple and rub the edges of the trimmed fruit with the lemon. In a medium bowl, combine the butter, cereal, sugar, and walnuts. Fill the apples with the cereal mixture. Set the apples upright in muffin tins and bake until tender and bubbly, about 20 minutes. Transfer to serving dishes, top with ice cream and serve hot.

1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Core each apple making a large well in the center and arrange apples on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Mix oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl; cut in butter until evenly combined. Spoon 1/4 of the oat mixture into each apple.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until apples are tender and filling is bubbling, about 30 minutes.

8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 honeycrisp apple, or apple of your choice
1 cup whipping cream
¾ cup maple syrup
½ cup crushed pecan
graham cracker, crushed

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese, and sugar. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Hollow the apple with a melon baller.
  • Fill ⅔ of hollowed apple with cream cheese mixture.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes at 176˚C (350˚F).
  • For maple pecan sauce, boil whipping cream and maple syrup until thick. Stir in pecans just before serving.
  • Serve with crushed graham cracker (optional) and maple pecans sauce.
  • Enjoy!

An apple is filled with a cinnamon cheesecake center. I used a Braeburn apple but any variety will work. Great for a cold night! Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

1 apple
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoons cream cheese
1 tablespoon dried cranberries

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Cut the stem out of the apple and hollow out the center until it is about 1 1/2 inches wide without going through the bottom. In a small cup, stir together the cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Set aside half of this mixture, and mix the rest with the cream cheese and dried cranberries.
  • Sprinkle some of the reserved cinnamon sugar into the apple's cavity. Fill with the cream cheese mixture, and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on the top. Place the apple in a small baking dish.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the apple is tender enough to easily pierce with a fork.

Here's what you need: small apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, wheel of brie cheese, pepitas, butter, boiling water, White, black and red frosting tube

9 small apples, any variety
½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
½ wheel of brie cheese, cut into spears (they need to fit inside the apple hole)
¼ cup pepitas, (pumpkin seeds) optional, can also use walnuts/almonds
butter, Slivers of butter to go over each apple (about 2 tbsp total)
½ cup boiling water
White, black and red frosting tube, to draw the eyeballs

Steps:

  • Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a saucepan, mix together the butter, sugar and salt. When the temperature reaches 260°F, remove from heat..
  • Sprinkle the chopped almonds into the mixture and mix them in thoroughly.
  • Pour the mixture into the baking tray.
  • Put the baking tray into the freezer for 30-45 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate bar and mix it with salt, and melted butter until combined.
  • Remove the toffee from the freezer and break it into chunks. Coat it in the melted chocolate mixture.
  • Place the chocolate covered toffee pieces back onto the parchment-lined baking tray and keep in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the chocolate covered toffee from the freezer and plate. Enjoy with a glass of milk!
