This Italian Shrimp Bake with Pasta couldn't get any easier and could be on your table in as little as 20 minutes! I'm talking succulent buttery shrimp in a savory lemon butter sauce served over a bed of pasta. Perfect with some crusty bread for dunking in that yummy sauce!

1/2 cup butter (unsalted, melted)
2 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 ounce Italian Dressing Mix (1 pkg (about 2 tbsp))
1 pound large shrimp (uncooked, shells removed)
12 ounce dry pasta (such as spaghetti or fettuccine)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
  • In a baking dish, whisk together the butter, lemon juice, Italian seasoning and Italian Dressing Mix.
  • Add shrimp and stir well to make sure the shrimp is fully coated.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes until the shrimp turns pink.
  • Meanwhile cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • Serve the shrimp and the buttery sauce over the pasta and garnish with parsley.

1½ lb shrimp that has been shelled and deveined
1 bottle of Spray Butter (I Can't Believe It's Not Butter)
1 lemon, sliced thin
1 pkg dry Italian seasoning packet or 2 tsp of Italian Seasoning

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line cookie sheets with sides with foil.
  • Lay lemon slices on the bottom of the pan. Lay shrimp on top of the lemons. Sprinkle the dry Italian dressing mix on top of shrimp and spritz the shrimp with spray butter.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes, until the shrimp are no longer pink.
  • Serve with cooked orzo, spaghetti noodles, rice, or some crusty bread.
  • Serving size: 1/2 cup of shrimp or 1/6th of the pan.

1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1.5 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon honey

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 pound peeled and deveined jumbo or extra large RAW shrimp, tail on (* fresh or frozen and defrosted is fine)

Steps:

  • If your shrimp does not come deveined, this is pretty easy to do. Remove the shell (which is usually already cut) and use a small knife to cut along the back side of the shrimp. There will be a slimy dark "line" that becomes exposed. Remove that from the shrimp and rinse. Pat the shrimp dry.
  • Place all the ingredients except shrimp in a food processor and blend it till almost smooth. Pour sauce over the shrimp, toss, and place in the refrigerator to marinate 30min to an hour. If using a grill, thread your shrimp onto skewers.
  • Prepare your grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Place your shrimp on the hot grill or grill pan and cook, not moving for 2 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side another 2-3 minutes, depending on the size of your shrimp. You want them to be opaque with no clear/grayish parts. Serve immediately or cover and chill for up to 2 days.

Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or other herbs
Optional, for serving: cooked pasta, cooked rice, or a loaf of crusty bread

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Spread the diced butter evenly around the bottom of a rimmed baking sheet.

1 whole lemon
1 pkg dry italian (or any flavor) seasoning

Steps:

  • 1. Line 1 large cookie sheet with foil and preheat oven to 350 degrees (to cut down on time, place 1 stick of butter on lined cookie sheet in oven while preheating).
  • 2. Cut up 1 whole lemon in slices.
  • 3. Once oven is preheated and butter melted, place lemon slices on cookie sheet (spread out).
  • 4. Place shrimp on top of lemon pieces and shake seasoning on top. (if frozen, let shrimp fully thaw and drain before cooking)
  • 5. For tasty flavor throughout, toss shrimp so seasoning, butter, lemon slices are evenly distributed.
