6 chicken breasts
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons lemon juice
8 ounces sour cream
1 cup mushroom
1/4 cup sherry wine

Steps:

  • Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder and salt.
  • Melt butter.
  • Add paprika and lemon juice.
  • Roll chicken in butter mixture.
  • Bake in 350 degree oven 30 minutes or until done.
  • Mix sherry wine, sour cream and mushrooms .
  • Pour over chicken and bake 15 minutes more.

8 oz chicken breasts, halved, boneless and skinless
1/2 c butter, melted
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp paprika
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1 c sour cream, room temperature
1/2 c sherry
8 oz mushrooms, drained

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2. Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt to taste.
  • 3. Mix together melted butter, paprika and lemon juice.
  • 4. Brush chicken well with butter mixture and place in shallow baking pan.
  • 5. Bake, tented with foil, about 30 minutes or until tender, brushing with remaining butter mixture occasionally to keep from drying.
  • 6. In a bowl, blend together sour cream, sherry or broth, mushrooms and pepper.
  • 7. Pour over chicken for last 15 minutes.
