- In a small bowl, combine the butter, mayonnaise, bacon and garlic. Spread over cut sides of bread; reassemble loaf. Wrap in a large piece of heavy-duty foil (about 36x18-in.); seal tightly. , Grill, covered, over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side. Unwrap and separate bread halves. Sprinkle with cheese. Grill 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

GARLIC BACON BUTTIES

Steps:
- Heat a griddle or frying pan, then cook the bacon for 3 mins each side or until golden and crisp.
- Cut 6 thick slices from the loaf and butter each one on one side. Spread the chutney evenly over 3 slices of the bread and top each with 2 rashers of bacon. Top with the other slices of bread, buttered side down, then press together well.
- Return the butties to the pan over a medium heat (you'll have to do this in batches), then toast for 2-3 mins each side until golden. Remove from pan, then rub both sides with cut side of the garlic clove. Cut the butties in half and serve straight away.

- In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes or until partially cooked; drain on paper towels. Roll out dough to 1/2-in. thickness; brush with 1 tablespoon of oil. Cut into 1-in. pieces; place in a large bowl. Add the bacon, cheese, dressing mix and remaining oil; toss to coat., Arrange pieces in a 9x5-in. oval on a parchment-lined baking sheet, layering as needed. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled., Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Cover with foil; bake 15 minutes longer or until golden brown.

BACON AND CAMEMBERT PULL-APART GARLIC BREAD RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Slice the camembert into thick matchsticks.
- Make deep, thick slits into the bread without cutting all the way through, about 90% down is good.
- Rotate the bread 90° and make more cuts, 90% through again, creating little sticks of bread that are all held together by the crust at the bottom.
- Combine the butter, parsley and garlic.
- Stuff camembert in between the bread sticks.
- Drop the cooked bacon bits over the bread, pushing some of them down into the cracks.
- Drizzle butter evenly over the bread.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until the camembert is melted and the top of the bread is crusty.
- Enjoy!

- In a non-stick pan, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain off any excess fat, then add the chopped wild garlic (or alternative – see know-how) and wilt with the bacon. Set aside to cool.
- Combine the flour, powdered milk, sugar and salt in a large bowl, then add the yeast. Melt the butter in the water and gradually mix into the dry ingredients to form a soft dough. Add the bacon and ransoms, then mix well to combine. Knead on a dusted work surface for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic, then shape into a ball, put in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with cling film. Leave somewhere warm for 45-60 minutes until twice the size.
- Preheat the oven to 210°C/fan190°C/ gas 6½. Knock back the dough (see know-how), then shape into a smooth round. Put back in the bowl, cover and leave for 25 minutes until puffy.
- Gently place the dough on a lightly oiled tray. Bake in the top of the oven for 25-30 minutes until a light brown crust has formed and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped underneath. Let the bread cool before slicing it.
