BACON ARUGULA APPLE BITES



Bacon Arugula Apple Bites image

Apple slices topped with cheese, bacon and arugula for wonderful appetizers - ready in 15 minutes.

1 large Red Delicious apple, cut into 20 slices
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup garlic-and-herbs spreadable cheese
4 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled (1/3 cup)
1 cup baby arugula
1/8 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Steps:

  • In large bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice; pat dry with paper towels. Spread each slice with about 2 teaspoons cheese. Top with bacon, arugula and pepper. Serve immediately.
