This easy, sweet dip is excellent on a fruit/cookie platter and is perfect for a baby shower with it's lovely pastel pink color. It is also thick enough to be used as a tea-sandwich filling.

Ingredients

1 cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon raspberry extract
1/2 cup fresh raspberry

Steps:

Combine the sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and raspberry extract in a medium bowl.
With an electric mixer, blend until smooth.
Chill for about 30 minutes.
Garnish with fresh raspberries.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh raspberry (or frozen)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room-temp
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
apple, sliced
orange, wedged
pear, sliced
grapes, non-seeded
melon, slice

Steps:

Place the thawed if frozen raspberries in blender. No need to cut. Process until pureed.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add raspberry puree; beating until really blended. Cover and refrigerate until welled chilled.
Put in a beautiful bowl and dip away!

Place raspberries in a blender; cover and process until pureed. Strain to remove seeds. , In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add raspberry puree; beat until well blended. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve with fruit.
