ABSOLUTELY THE BEST NACHO DIP EVER
This attractive layered dip for tortilla chips is filled with fresh ingredients. The addition of cocktail sauce is a nice, spicy twist.

Steps:
- In a blender or food processor, thoroughly mix cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise. Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a medium serving dish.
- In individual layers, top the mixture with cocktail sauce, mild salsa, diced green onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, shredded Cheddar cheese and shredded lettuce.
- Arrange cucumber slices around the edge of the serving dish. Chill in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving.

- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain well. , Transfer to a greased 3-qt. slow cooker; stir in the cheese, salsa and garlic powder. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through. Stir; serve warm with tortilla chips or cubed bread.

AMAZING NACHO DIP FOR A CROWD
This is one of the best dips, the amounts listed is enough about 15-20 people but may be cut in half if desired. I have served this many times at my get togethers and everyone loves it --- this may be prepared in advance up to step#8 refrigerated and baked later --- see my recipe#168653

Steps:
- Lighty grease a shallow 3-quart oven-proof dish.
- In a frypan, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic (if using), crumbling with a fork into fine pieces; drain, season with salt (or seasoning salt if using).
- Spread the refried beans into the bottom of the dish.
- Top the green chilies over beans.
- Top with cooked beef over beans.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Drizzle taco sauce over all.
- AT THIS POINT, you may cover and refrigerate to bake later.
- Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.
- Spread the mashed avocado over baked mixture.
- Then top with sour cream.
- Sprinkle/garnish with chopped green onions and olives.
- Serve with Tortilla chips.
- **NOTE** if preparing this in advance and refrigerating, you might want to bake it longer than 20 minutes.
THE BEST NACHO DIP EVER
I found this recipe on the web and modified it to include fat-free or low fat ingredients, when possible. It is absolutely the best nacho dip ever. I think it's the cocktail sauce that makes all the difference. Try to allow at least 2 hours "cure" time in the fridge. An overnight stay is even better!

- Thoroughly mix cream cheese, sour cream and mayo.
- Spread evenly in the bottom of a serving dish or plastic container with lid.
- Layer the remaining ingredients, in order, over your base layer.
- Allow to set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve alone or with nacho chips.
AWESOME PARTY NACHO DIP
This is so easy and so good. We eat this about twice a month! I found this recipe in a local book called Beginnings, A Collection of Appetizers Presented by the Junior League of Akron.

Steps:
- Combine the cheese, undrained tomatoes, undrained chiles, and Tabasco sauce in a microwave-safe dish or in a sauce pan.
- Microwave on high for 5 minutes, stir, and microwave for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts OR cook on medium heat on the stove until the cheese melts. Stir occassionally to distribute the heat.
- Spoon the dip into a serving bowl. Serve with Tortilla chips.
