BASIL CREAM SAUCE
After a mad search on the net for a recipe for this sauce I had to create my own. This can be reheated in the microwave without the usual cream sauce defects. I just love the light green color and how well it displays over tri color or regular pasta, salmon and grilled chicken. I have been putting this on everything.

Steps:
- In a food processor, combine basil and garlic. Begin processing, and pour in olive oil in a thin stream. Process for about 40 seconds, or until mixture begins to emulsify. Add pine nuts and Parmesan, then blend for 1 minute.
- Heat cream in a saucepan over low heat until simmering. Pour 1/2 of the hot cream into the processor with basil pesto, and pulse for 20 seconds to incorporate. Pour mixture back into cream, and simmer for 5 minutes, or until thickened.

CREAMY PARMESAN BASIL SHRIMP
This Creamy Parmesan Basil Shrimp is a restaurant quality dish you can make at home! Creamy luscious sauce coats plump shrimp, perfect for serving over pasta, or make it keto and serve with spaghetti squash instead!

- In a large non stick pan on medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then sear, 1-2 minutes on each side, until just pink. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet add 1 tablespoons butter. Add onion, garlic, peppers, paprika, red chili pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until onions and peppers are softened.
- Add wine to deglaze the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer until reduced by half.
- Reduce heat to medium low. Add cream to the skillet and stir until a creamy sauce forms. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Add Parmesan, stir until melted into sauce. Stir in basil, simmer until wilted, 1-2 minutes.
- Add shrimp back to the skillet and reheat 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve over pasta, zoodles, spaghetti squash.

AWESOME LEMON CREAM SAUCE W/PARMESAN & BASIL
I worked on this for a bit of time... I wanted a sauce that was flavorful, but didn't overwhelm the dining experience. This sauce is packed with flavor but allows the flavors of the other parts of the meal to come through... It compliments; not overpowers. Drizzle this sauce on pork, chicken or fish... Use it as a dip for veggies... Put it on the back of you hand and lick it off. This is one yummy sauce, and can be produced in one pan. In this recipe I sautéed a chicken breast and made some baked red potatoes with some steamed broccoli... YUMMY. So, you ready... Let's get into the kitchen.

- PREP/PREPARE
- Gather your ingredients.
- Add the butter and olive oil into a saucepan over medium heat.
- When the butter melts and stops foaming, add the garlic along with the red pepper flakes.
- Stir until fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the chicken stock, cream, lemon juice, flour, and then stir to incorporate.
- Add the Parmesan and stir until incorporated.
- Add the lemon zest, and basil, and stir to incorporate.
- Allow the sauce to simmer until it thickens, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Chef's Note: While the sauce is simmering, season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- PLATE/PRESENT
- Cook up your favorite protein (chicken, pork, fish), and serve with your favorite sides. Then drizzle the sauce on top. Enjoy.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until tender yet firm to the bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, about 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook until simmering, about 1 minute. Add heavy cream. Increase heat to medium and bring to a boil; simmer, stirring occasionally, until Alfredo sauce is reduced by half, about 20 minutes.

- MELT butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add garlic, and saute 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add half-and-half and chicken broth.
- Bring to a boil, and cook 8 minutes or until reduced by half.
- WHISK together lemon juice and cornstarch until smooth.
- Whisk lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon pepper into butter mixture, and cook, whisking constantly, 2 minutes or until thickened.
