Green beans with the meat of your choice. Don't be afraid to experiment with seasoning. This is a fun recipe! My family really enjoys the green beans.

Steps:
- Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until tender. Stir in sausage and cook until evenly brown.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil. Stir in green beans; reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. Check water level often and add more as needed to prevent scorching. Season with salt to taste.

- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat, and brown the sausage, breaking it apart into crumbles as it cooks. Pour in chicken broth, and bring to a boil.
- Lightly pile in as many mustard greens as will comfortably fit in the pot, and allow to wilt, stirring often; when they have wilted, place more mustard greens into the pot and allow to wilt, until all greens have been added. Stir in the beans, diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Bring back to a boil, and simmer until greens are cooked and tender, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.

AWESOME GREEN BEANS
I grew up eating these green beans and learned to cook them by watching my mother. They are my favorite way to eat green beans. Edit: This is a recipe for people that like a tangy vinegar flavor, most kids won't like it. I make this for the adults and just buttered beans for my kids.

Steps:
- Put a medium skillet on stove and heat to medium.
- Add the bacon and cook till crisp, then remove to paper towel, keep bacon fat in skillet.
- Add onions and saute till lightly brown.
- Add green beans(undrained or just partially drained).
- Add vinegar and cook on medium- low until liquid is evaporated. Taste the beans and add salt and pepper if needed, but remember the bacon is salty!
- Then serve with bacon sprinkled on top.
