AUNT WEEZIE'S FUN BUNS (OAMC, MAKE AHEAD, FREEZE)
These are similar to a sloppy joe or a cheeseburger and this recipe is written specifically to make ahead and freeze until you want them. Kid friendly, works great for busy weeknights served aside some french fries or tater tots. This recipe has been in my family for years; came from my Aunt Weezie out in Indiana.

WAY-AHEAD STICKY BUNS
The beauty of this recipe (besides the taste) is that you can make it up to 2 days ahead of time and just keep refrigerated. Time of rising not included.

CHICKEN PACKETS (OAMC)
Another Once a month meal that's sure to please. My little girl likes these because they pick up easily in her hands! *I revised this recipe based on several folks pointing out that I had made a mistake on the amount of cream cheese. Thank you so much for the input!

Steps:
- Mix chicken, cream cheese, chives, milk, and salt in a medium bowl (mixing with hands works best) to make filling, and store in a 1 qt freezer bag.
- Put crouton crumbs in another 1 qt bag, attach it to bag of chicken filling, and freeze.
- Refrigerate crescent rolls.
- To prepare for serving, thaw chicken mixture.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Unroll crescent rolls.
- Each tube will contain 4 rectangles of dough with a diagonal perforation.
- Press dough along each perforation so the rectangle halves will not separate.
- Place about 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture into the center of each rectangle.
- Fold dough over the filling, and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- Dip each packet in melted margarine, and coat with crouton crumbs.
- Place packets on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Packets are good either hot or cold.
PIZZA SPIRALS OAMC
These tasty little morsels are so easy and versatile. I serve them as an appetizer or after school snack, but especially as a school lunch. I just make them ahead, freeze them and pop them into my daughter's lunch box frozen, and by the time she is ready to eat lunch they are all thawed out. There are never any left over! Hope you enjoy!

PLAIN RICE -- MAKE AHEAD OAMC THROW IT IN THE FREEZER!!
I started doing this to save some time in the evenings. I don't like using that 10 minute Uncle Ben's but I do like having my rice ready that fast ;O). I really like using sushi rice! Use whatever rice you prefer!

Steps:
- Cook as directed in rice cooker (or your preferred method).
- When rice is done immediately rinse, in strainer, with cold water till rice is cool (to stop cooking). Fill ziplock baggies (quart size) with 2 cups of rice each. Flatten out and remove air. Makes 4 bags. (You can do 1 cup bags too ~ Use smaller baggies like sandwich or snack ones) I usually have 1/2 - 1 cup rice leftover which I just make a little dish for myself with.
- Use one bag for 2 of you ~ Two bags for 4 of you :O) Just take out of the freezer in the morning and throw in the fridge till you start cooking!
