AUNT MIMI'S PORK CHOPS



Aunt Mimi's Pork Chops image

This family recipe is a favorite. To make soy-free for my husband's allergies, we substitute 2 tsp fish sauce for the Worchestershire sauce

6 pork chops
1 cup water
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Brown pork chops. Drain fat and place in a glass baking dish.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer for two minutes.
  • Pour sauce over pork chops.
  • Cover with foil and bake 1.5 hours at 325 degrees F.
