1/2 onion (diced)
2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup beef broth

Steps:

  • Place all the ingredients and add the beef in the Instant pot.
  • Set the valve to sealing.
  • Set the pressure for 20 minutes.
  • Release the pressure naturally and stir to combine.
  • Serve immediately.

Cooking times will vary depending on the size you cut the steak bites, how you like your steak cooked, and how hot your skillet is. For the types of steak, use your favorite. Depending on the budget, we prefer ribeye, sirloin, tri-tip, and chuck shoulder steaks (aka London Broil steaks)

1 lb. steak (, cut into about 1/2" cubes)
2 Tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic (, minced or crushed)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (, optional)
salt (, to taste)
black pepper (, to taste)
Minced Italian parsley (, garnish)
chili flakes (, for finishing, optional)
Additional butter for finishing (, optional)

Steps:

  • Pat dry the steak cubes. Melt the 2 Tablespoons of butter a large skillet over high heat. Add the steak cubes and lay in a single layer. Sear all sides on high heat until a crust forms around the steak cubes, usually about 3-5 minutes depending on size of the steak & how hot the skillet is.
  • Add the garlic, optional Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Continue to cook steak bites to your preferred doneness, usually another minute or two.
  • Add some chopped parsley, optional chili flakes, and more salt and/or pepper if desired. Optional - finish with a tablespoon or so more of butter melted on top of the steak bites. Serve hot.

2/3 cup soy sauce
6 garlic cloves (minced)
1/4 cup sesame oil
1/4 cup olive oil
½ cup sugar
1 Tablespoon grated ginger
2 tbsp sesame seeds ((I like using the Japanese assorted sesame seeds but any will work))
1 red onion (cut into one inch pieces )
1 green bell pepper (cut into one inch pieces )
1 yellow bell pepper (cut into one inch pieces )
1 red bell pepper (cut into one inch pieces )
skewers
Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Cut steak into one inch cubes.
  • In a large bowl whisk together soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, olive oil, sugar, ginger and sesame seeds. Add the steak and toss to coat in marinade. Marinate for 3 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the grill to medium high heat. Thread the meat, red onion, and bell pepper onto the skewers. Grill for 8-10 minutes until the meat is done to desired liking.

1 lb. (0.4 kg) top sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon Maldon sea salt flakes or kosher salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
12 cloves peeled small garlic
ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon Italian Seasoning (I used McCormick Italian Seasoning)
1 teaspoon homemade dry rub
1 tablespoon chopped Italian parsley
3 squirts fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Cut the sirloin steak into equal, bite-sized pieces.
  • Marinate the steak bites with smoked paprika, salt and black pepper. Set aside.
  • Heat up a skillet, cast-iron preferred on high heat. Add the butter. As soon as it melts, add garlic cloves and stir a few times. Add the steak bites. Stir and cook continuously, flip, turn and toss around with the garlic. Add the Italian seasoning and homemade dry rub, stir to combine well.
  • As soon as the steak bites are cooked, about 3-4 minutes, add the chopped parsley. Stir to combine well with the steak. Remove the skillet from the stove top, add the lemon juice on top of the steak and serve immediately.

  • Slice the steak across the grain into strips 1/2" wide. Cut each strip into bite-size pieces, approximately 1/2" - 3/4" in size. Place the chunks of beef into a medium size bowl. Stir together the soy sauce, honey, and chili paste. Pour over the beef and stir to coat well. Let the meat marinate for 20-30 minutes. Heat a heavy bottom stainless steel pan or wok over medium high heat. When the pan is hot, add 1 tablespoon of oil and swirl to coat. Add 1/3 of the meat to the pan and spread out in a single layer. Let it cook for about a minute, until the meat has browned. Flip the meat or toss with a spatula for an additional minute or two as it finishes cooking. Remove the meat from the pan to a plate. Add half of the remaining meat to the hot pan and repeat the above steps. Add the cooked meat to the waiting plate. If necessary, add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan before adding the remaining meat. Then flip to cook the other side for about 30 seconds. Add 1/2 tablespoon of butter and minced garlic, start to stir and cook for a few more seconds until garlic is fragrant.
  • Add potatoes back to the pan, give the beef cubes and potatoes a quick stir. Slightly lower the heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 1/2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Stir to cook to desired doneness and coat everything with the sauce. This should not take long, otherwise the beef will be overcooked.
