Steps:
- Preparation: Mince a clove of garlic. Cut a 1 inch piece of ginger and peel the thin skin with a spoon. Mince the ginger and add it to the garlic. Cut the pork loin into thin strips and mix with 1 tbsp. oil and the ginger and garlic.
- Cut the red bell pepper into strips and place into the bottom of a medium bowl. Cut the green onions (scallions) into 2 inch pieces, including some of the green stems and add them to the bowl. Cut the broccoli florets into large bite sized pieces, layering them on top.
- Add the sweetener and cornstarch (arrowroot) to a small bowl and mix together. Stir in the Tamari soy sauce, dry sherry and sesame oil.
- Method: Place the wok over high heat. It's ready when a drop of water skips across the surface. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and quickly tilt the wok to coat all surfaces. Pour out the remaining oil. Place the wok back onto the heat and begin adding the pork to the sides and bottom of the pan. Leave the pork undisturbed until it has cooked half way through; the bottom half will turn white. Stir the pork and cook until it is almost cooked through. Remove from the pan to the serving bow.
- Dump the bowl of vegetables into the wok with the broccoli in the bottom. Cover with a lid and cook for 1 minute. Stir the vegetables and add the pork and any juices back to the pan. Stir the pork and vegetables together. Stir the stir fry sauce and pour it over the pork and vegetables. Push the pork stir fry to the sides and let the sauce boil at the bottom of the wok, stirring occasionally for several seconds until the sauce thickens.
- If you would like the sauce a little thicker, remove the stir fried pork and vegetables to the serving bowl and let the sauce cook a little longer. Pour the sauce over the stir fry when it reaches your desired level of thickness. Serve.

Steps:
- To a medium pot, bring water to a boil over high heat, cook the noodles according to package directions (likely 90 to 120 seconds), drain, rinse; set aside. While you're waiting for the water to boil and the noodles to cook, move on to the next steps.
- To a large, high-sided skillet, add the oils, onion, boy choy, and saute over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, or until vegetables are beginning to soften; stir frequently.
- Add the pork, bell pepper, carrots, and cook over medium high heat for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until pork is cooked through and all vegetables are tender. Crumble pork as it cooks and stir frequently to ensure even cooking. At any point in cooking add additional olive oil if necessary.
- Add the broccoli and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, ginger, and stir to combine. Turn the heat to low and allow the food to simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes, or until broccoli is as crisp tender as desired. Stir thoroughly to ensure food is coated evenly with sauces.
- Taste the dish and if desired add salt or pepper (I did not need either), extra soy sauce, or chili garlic sauce for additional spiciness.
- Optionally garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Steps:
- Prepare all of the vegetables and set aside. Things will move quickly once the wok is on the stove, and you'll want to be prepared!
- Heat your wok over medium high heat, and spread 1 tablespoon of oil around the perimeter of the wok. Immediately add the minced ginger, and let fry for 5 to 10 seconds.
- Stir in the minced garlic, and immediately add the mushrooms and red bell peppers. Stir fry for 15 seconds. Turn the heat up to high, and add the bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, and Shaoxing wine. Stir-fry for another 10 seconds. Next add the roast pork. Stir fry for 20-30 seconds.
- Next, add the bok choy and give everything a good stir fry for 15 seconds. Add the soy sauce, salt, sugar, sesame oil, oyster sauce, and fresh ground pepper. Continue to stir-fry for another 20 seconds.
- Add the snow peas and continue to stir-fry until they are evenly distributed in the mixture. Stir in the chicken stock, and let the mixture come to a boil.
- Once it comes to a boil, stir in half of the cornstarch thickener, and cook for 20 seconds--until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Add more of the cornstarch mixture if the sauce seems thin and if there is too much standing liquid. Add more chicken stock if the dish isn't saucy enough for your liking--it's all about your personal preference! Check how things are tasting, and if you'd like, you can add more soy sauce, oyster sauce, or salt to taste.
- Plate and serve with steamed rice!

- 5-Spice Pork With Bok Choy and Green Onions. - Pork Chop Suey. Chop suey is a classic American-made, Chinese-inspired dish that is basically a flavorful vegetable stir-fry with meat added for texture and taste.

- Pork With Peking Sauce. This Chinese pork with peking sauce recipe is ideal as a side dish or part of a multi-course meal. Peking sauce is a pre-made sauce found in Asian markets, but you can substitute with bean paste if need be.
- Spareribs With Black Bean Sauce. Chinese spareribs with black bean sauce is a tasty and simple dish to make at home. Traditionally this dish is made with fermented whole black beans, and while they can be found in any Chinese grocery store, a simple store-bought black bean sauce with garlic makes this dish much easier to cook.
- Sweet and Sour Pork. This Cantonese sweet and sour pork dish is popular in both America and China, and although the ingredient list and directions may be a bit long, once you taste this dish you will see how it was all worth it.
- Twice-Cooked Pork. In this Szechuan dish, pork is first boiled in ginger and rice wine liquid and then stir-fried in sweet bean paste and soy sauce along with leek and bell pepper.
