Step outside the box and forget the traditional deviled egg with the filling stuffed inside an egg white. Serve it on a seasoned pretzel crisp. It's a fun and modern twist with additional flavor from the Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps® with good eye appeal.

6 hard-cooked eggs
⅓ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon wasabi paste
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons panko bread crumbs
12 Original Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps®
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions

Steps:

  • Slice each hard-boiled egg in half, remove the yolk, and place into a food processor or blender. (Reserve the whites for another use.) Add mayonnaise, soy sauce, wasabi, ginger, and rice wine vinegar, and process until smooth. Add the panko bread crumbs, and pulse until they're incorporated into the yolk mixture.
  • Spread (or pipe) the yolk mixture onto a Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps®, and sprinkle with black sesame seeds and green onion slices.
  • If not serving right away, refrigerate until ready to serve for up to 3 hours.

48 Original Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps®
½ cup peanut butter
1 (10 ounce) package vanilla candy melts or chips

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Arrange 24 pretzel crisps face down on the sheet.
  • Scoop 1 teaspoon peanut butter on each pretzel crisp. Top with the remaining pretzel crisps face up pressing down lightly to flatten into a "sandwich."
  • Melt chips or melts in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each melting, 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Use small tongs to dip each "sandwich" into the melted candy (or use a fork or spoon to drizzle the coating over it.) Let excess coating drip into the bowl; place dipped sandwiches onto the baking sheet.
  • Let stand until the candy sets. You can speed up the process by placing them in the refrigerator.

2 tablespoons sesame seeds
½ cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons wasabi paste
2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions
4 tablespoons panko bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Place eggs in a saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 15 minutes. Remove eggs from hot water, cool under cold running water, and peel.
  • Place sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat; cook and stir until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Remove to cool on a plate lined with a paper towel.
  • Cut each egg in half lengthwise; place egg yolks into a food processor with mayonnaise, soy sauce, wasabi paste, and rice vinegar. Process until smooth; place green onion and panko bread crumbs into yolk mixture and pulse just enough to mix evenly.
  • Arrange egg white halves on a serving platter; spoon yolk mixture into whites. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

6 large eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 ½ teaspoons sriracha sauce
1 ½ teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon finely grated ginger root
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
toasted sesame seeds
1 green onion, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Place eggs on an air fryer rack or trivet with enough space between them for air to circulate. Set the air fryer temperature to 260 degrees F (125 degrees C) and set the timer for 15 minutes. Close air fryer.
  • Remove eggs from the air fryer and put them in a bowl of ice water for 10 minutes. Remove eggs from water, peel, and cut in half.
  • Carefully scoop out yolks and place into a mini food processor. Add mayonnaise, sriracha, sesame oil, low-sodium soy sauce, Dijon mustard, ginger root, and rice vinegar. Process until thoroughly combined and mixture has a creamy, mousse-like consistency.
  • Fill a piping bag with the yolk mixture and evenly distribute into egg white halves until they are heaping full; you can also use a spoon to do this. Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and green onion.
