SPIKED ARNOLD PALMERS
The classic lemonade-iced tea combo was named after golfer Arnold Palmer in the 1960s - it was his go-to drink. Our version has a secret ingredient: vodka!

Steps:
- Put the tea bags in a large heatproof pitcher and pour in 5 cups boiling water. Let steep about 10 minutes. Discard the tea bags.
- Pour half of the tea into ice cube trays and freeze until firm, 3 hours. Refrigerate the rest.
- Make a simple syrup: Heat 1 cup water and the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
- Stir 1 cup of the simple syrup, the lemon juice, 5 cups cold water and the vodka into the pitcher of chilled tea. Add the tea ice cubes.
- Pour the drink into glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and mint.

This recipe is easy and tastes great! Very simular to a Lasagna but lighter flare. Usually a family pleaser. This recipe comes from a friend of my who is from Rochester NY.

Steps:
- Bown beef and mushrooms and 1/2 chopped onions.
- Add tomato sause salt, pepper, and garlic salt and simmer for 1/2 hour.
- Cook noodles.
- Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, remaining chopped onions and green peppers.
- Buttered casserole
- Layer meat, noodles and cheese mixture, ending with meat on top.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes
- First 1/2 of cooking time with lid on casserole, remaining with lid off.

PERFECT ARNOLD PALMER
After a long period of testing, this is the best Arnold Palmer recipe I've come up with. It's all in the technique. Also, if you want to turn this into a Hairy Palmer (a.k.a. Drunken Golfer), add a shot of whiskey/bourbon per cup.

- Put the sugar into a pan with 2-3 cups of water and make it into simple syrup. Turn off the heat.
- Juice the lemons into serving pitcher.
- Make the cover the tea bags with 4 cups of water. Wait until it cools.
- Pour the tea into the lemon juice. Add 1/3 of the simple syrup. Taste it. Keep adding simple syrup to taste.
- Add water to make 2 quarts.

- Juice the lemons into serving pitcher.

- For the crust:.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine the butter and sugar in a bowl. Cream together until smooth. Add the flour and salt then stir together until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into a 9 x 9-inch square baking pan so you get an even layer covering the whole base.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until just starting to turn brown around the edges.
- For the top layer:.
- Heat the unsweetened tea in a small pot over a medium heat. Let simmer until reduced down to 1/4 cup.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, eggs, lemon juice and zest, stirring until smooth. Mix in the tea.
- Pour this over the baked crust.
- Reduce the oven to 300 degrees F and bake for another 20-25 minutes until the top is set.
- Let cool then cut into 16 squares and dust with powdered sugar.

CLASSIC COMPANY CASSEROLE
My grandmother used to make this casserole alot, especially for Sunday dinner. It has always been a family favorite, hope you like it too!

Steps:
- Cook noodles in salted water; drain.
- Melt butter or margarine and saute green bell pepper.
- Add meat and cook until meat loses its pink color.
- Drain.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onions & noodles.
- Gently mix together.
- Alternate layers of noodles & meat mixture in a 2-qt.
- casserole.
- Top with cheese and bake 30 minutes at 350.

- Cook noodles; drain and set aside.
- Brown meat; drain.
- Add tomato sauce to beef; remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, onions and peppers.
- Butter a casserole dish and spread 1/2 the noodles in the bottom.
- Cover noodles with 1/2 the cheese mixture, then 1/2 the meat mixture, then 1 more layer of noodles, then cheese mixture and then meat mixture.
- Pour 2 tablespoons butter over top; press down slightly.
- Bake at 375° for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minute.
- If drier casserole is desired, cook 15 minutes longer.
