- Add Apple cider and cinnamon sticks to the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours, allow the liquid to cool in the crock pot
- Mix everclear and cider together, you may need to move to a larger pot/pan if your crock pot is not large enough
- Pour mixture into canning jars and store in a dark place for 30 days. This gives the moonshine time to combine and get the fresh flavor

- Spice up the apple juice & cider: Get out a large stockpot and pour the apple juice and apple cider into it. Then add in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and all of the spices. Place this over medium-high heat and let the mixture come to a soft boil. Then use a spoon to stir the mixture until all of the brown sugar has dissolved into the liquid. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover the pot with a lid, and let it simmer for 1 hour.
- After the 1 hour remove the pot from the heat and let the liquid cool down to room temperature.
- Remove the spices: Once the liquid has cooled to room temperature you can use either a sieve or a slotted spoon to remove the big cinnamon sticks. Don't worry about getting it all out as we will strain the liquid before we add them to the jars.
- Pour in the alcohol and stir everything together.
- Jar the apple pie moonshine: Get out your clean mason jars and place a funnel over one of them along with a sieve over the funnel. Then use a ladle to spoon the moonshine into the jars until it almost comes to the top. Repeat this step until all of your jars are filled. At this point, you have the option of placing an additional cinnamon stick into each jar. This will not only make the drink spicier but will make them look nice. So make a decision and then place the lids on each jar.
- Place the jars of apple pie moonshine into a fridge to cool off before enjoying.

- In a large pot, combine apple juice, apple cider, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and 12 cinnamon sticks. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugars are dissolved.
- Cover the pot, reduce heat to low and simmer for an hour. Remove pot from heat and cool completely.
- Stir Everclear and vodka into cooled syrup and remove cinnamon sticks.
- Pour Moonshine into 12, 16 ounce clean jars, add a fresh new cinnamon stick to each jar, screw the tops on (you're not going to process the jars for canning, you're just using the tops to cover the jars) and store in the fridge.
- The moonshine is ready to drink immediately but the taste will improve significantly as the moonshine has a chance to sit and mellow for 2 weeks.

- In a large stock pot, combine the apple cider, apple juice, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and apple pie spice. Bring to almost a boil. Cover the pot with a lid and reduce heat. Simmer for one hour. Remove the pot from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
- Once cool, remove the cinnamon sticks. Stir in the grain alcohol and vodka. Transfer the apple pie moonshine into sterilized quart jars or bottles and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
- The Apple Pie Moonshine can be enjoyed immediately. However, for the best flavor, store in the jar with a lid in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks before drinking. Shake well before serving.

- This recipe comes together very quickly. Simply combine the cinnamon sticks, apple cider, and apple juice in the large stock pot. Bring it all to a mild simmer and add in the sugars. Continue to stir slowly for about five to ten minutes until all the sugar is dissolved. At that point, turn the heat off and allow the apple cider mixture to cool down to room temperature. Allow it several hours to reach a lower temperature. If you add in the alcohol too soon, the higher temperature will evaporate some of the alcohol content. Once the mixture is at room temperature, stir in the bottle of Everclear and one to two cups of rum. At this point, you are ready to jar the apple pie moonshine in the mason jars. Don't be afraid to put a cinnamon stick in the jars either. As the apple pie moonshine ages, the cinnamon and sugar blends out the alcohol taste to an almost undetectable level. Again...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
