Apple Mallow Yum Yums image

You could use fresh yams in this,just cook first.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 apples ...sliced
1/3 c pecans ...chopped
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 17oz each cans yams...drained
1/4 c margarine
2 c mini marshmallows

Steps:

  • 1. Toss apples & nuts with combined brown sugar & cinnamon.
  • 2. Alternate layers of apples and yams in a 1-1/2 quart casserole....Dot with margarine.
  • 3. Cover. Bake 350 degrees...35 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows over yams and apples. Broil OR bake until lightly browned.
