Ingredients

1 can(s) apple pie filling or sugar-free
1 box angel food cake (dry)
sugar or splenda sugar
cinnamon
caramel (opt)
cool whip or ice cream

Steps:

1. Mix the dry angel food cake mix with apple pie filling,pour into a greased 9x13 cake pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or Splenda sugar.
2. Bake at 350F for 20-30 minutes. Do not over bake the cake is done when browned on the top but not completely set. (If using a glass pan bake 325F)
3. Remove from oven and serve with a dollop of cool whip, also great with vanilla ice cream and caramel.

Use this recipe combining apple pie filling and a cinnamon-apple muffin mix for an easy and delicious apple-flavored dump cake.

Ingredients

1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
1 (18.25 ounce) package apples and cinnamon muffin mix
½ cup butter
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9x13 inch baking pan
Mix apple pie filling with ground cinnamon to taste. Pour mixture into pan. Sprinkle apples and cinnamon mixture over top of apples.
In a small saucepan melt the butter or margarine and pour evenly over the top of the cake. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with ice cream!
