HONEY-SOY APPETIZER RIBS
Have the butcher cut the ribs in half crosswise to make appetizer-size ribs. You can prepare the ribs through Step 2 the day before you plan to cook them. Cover and chill overnight. You may need to grill the ribs a little longer to compensate for the fact that they are cold.

Steps:
- Rinse and pat ribs dry. If desired, remove thin membrane from back of ribs by slicing into it with a knife and then pulling it off. (This will make ribs more tender.)
- Bring ribs and water to cover to a boil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat; reduce heat to medium, and simmer 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry. Place ribs in a 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
- Stir together honey and next 4 ingredients; pour over ribs.
- Light 1 side of grill, heating to 350° to 400° (medium-high) heat; leave other side unlit. Arrange ribs over unlit side of grill, reserving sauce in dish. Grill, covered with grill lid, 45 minutes. Reposition rib slabs, placing slab closest to heat source away from heat and moving other slab closer to heat. Grill, covered with grill lid, 45 minutes to 1 hour or until tender, repositioning ribs and basting with reserved sauce every 20 minutes. Remove ribs from grill, and let stand 10 minutes. Cut ribs, slicing between bones. Garnish, if desired. Serve with Quick Asian Barbecue Sauce, if desired.

- Place ribs bone side down in a large roasting pan; pour 1 cup water over ribs. Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1-1/2 hours., In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic powder and ginger. Stir in the honey, soy sauce and remaining water until smooth. Drain fat from roasting pan; pour sauce over ribs. , Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until meat is tender, basting occasionally. Cut into serving-size pieces.

- Place the spare ribs, cider vinegar, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and sugar in a large bowl. Add 2/3 cup water and stir to combine. Place the spare ribs and the liquid in a large pot over low heat. Cover the pot and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook until the meat begins to come apart from the bone, about 40 minutes.
- Remove the spare ribs from the pot using a slotted spoon. Increase the heat to high and let the sauce reduce until it looks glazy, 5 to 10 minutes. Add the honey and sprinkle with pepper and let the sauce simmer, about 1 minute. Pour the sauce over the spare ribs and mix to combine. Serve immediately.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Bring the rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and ginger slices to a simmer over medium-high heat.
- Meanwhile, place rib pieces into a large bowl, and season to taste with garlic salt and pepper. Toss with a little flour to coat, then toss with ginger sauce. Place ribs onto prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, then turn ribs over, and bake an additional 45 minutes, until tender. Sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.

- 1. Cut racks into individual ribs and season with garlic powder. Arrange in a foil lined and sprayed 13x9-inch baking pan.
- 2. Cover with foil and bake at 350^ for 1 hour, or until very tender. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and simmer 5 minutes.
- 3. Remove from oven and drain ribs well- careful, there will be lots of steam under the foil. Pour homey mixture over spareribs and make sure all ribs get coated.
- 4. Bake, uncovered, at 350^ for another hour. Baste well about every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and garnish with the green onions and sesame seeds.
