Any-Fruit Frozen Margaritas image

A watermelon margarita? How about peach, strawberry, or even a cantaloupe margarita? You pick any fruit you desire for this recipe for frozen margaritas.

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 ¼ cups frozen diced watermelon
¾ cup prepared lemonade
¼ cup lime juice
1 cup tequila
½ cup orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)

Steps:

  • Boil water and sugar together in a small pot until sugar has dissolved into a syrup. Remove from heat and let cool briefly.
  • Combine syrup, watermelon, lemonade, and lime juice in a blender; blend until smooth. Pour in tequila and orange-flavored liqueur. Blend until combined.

2 Passion fruits (or 2 ounces passion fruit pulp)
1 1/2 ounces freshly squeezed Lime Juice
1 ounce Orange liqueur (example: Citronage, Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
1/2 ounce Agave nectar
ice

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with a large handful of ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds.
  • Strain into two glasses with fresh ice. Serve!
