HOMEMADE ICE CREAM BAR AND MAGIC SHELL RECIPE
Homemade ice cream bars are a guilty pleasure with a little less guilt when you make your own two ingredient chocolate coating. This easy magic shell recipe is great on fruit, an ice cream bar, or even a bowl of ice cream.

- Spoon ice cream into popscicle molds and freeze until firm. Overnight is best.
- Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a glass jar or microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds on full power. Stir until smooth. Heat for an additional 15-30 seconds if necessary. Cool to room temperature.
- Remove ice cream from molds and quickly dip each bar in the chocolate "magic shell" mixture. Place on wax paper lined tray and return to freezer if ice cream is melting.
- You can also spoon the chocolate "magic shell" mixture over scoops of ice cream for an easier treat. Enjoy!

INSTANT CHOCOLATE HARD SHELL
Two ingredients and less than 5 minutes to a delicious chocolate candy shell for ice cream. After trying recipe after recipe that turned out either rock hard or thick gummy hard shells - I thought to read the ingredient list on a bottle of the store stuff and came up with this! You can use any oil that has NO flavor or has a flavor compatible with chocolate and your ice cream - canola or soybean work ok here, but the coconut oil sends the flavor over the top and makes it a tad crunchier! Drizzle on top of your favorite ice cream!

- Transfer to a tall mason jar or glass. Dip into jar or pour topping over frozen treats.
- Note: Once the chocolate cools completely it become firm. You can either put it in a hot water bath to re-liquify or put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds at a time, stirring in between.
