- In 10-inch skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil over medium heat. Add onion and red pepper flakes; cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is tender. Add tomatoes, garlic and salt. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

BAKED ANGEL HAIR PASTA
Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bring a large pot (4-6 quarts) of water to a boil over high heat.
- 2. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef, breaking into small pieces. After the beef has browned, add the garlic and reduce heat to medium. Saute until tender, about 2 minutes longer. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked beef and garlic mixture to a very large bowl.
- 3. Add the olives, tomatoes, and half of the cheese (2 cups mozzarella and 1/2 cup parmesan) to the beef and garlic mixture and toss to combine.
- 4. Meanwhile, add the salt to the boiling water, and then add the angel hair pasta. Cook 5 minutes. Drain. Add the cooked angel hair and the tomato sauce to the bowl and toss with the other ingredients to combine.
- 5. Spoon pasta mixture into a lightly greased, large (13x9-inch, 3 qt.) glass baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese (1 1/2 – 2 cups mozzarella and 1/2 cup Parmesan) evenly over the top.
- 6. Bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees F, until cheese is melted and slightly browned, and sauce is bubbly.

- In a small bowl combine the pasta, egg and parmesan cheese. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a 7 inch pie plate or shallow 2 cup round baking dish coated with non stick spray. Set aside.
