LOW-CARB SNACKS : HOMEMADE BAKED CHEESE CRISPS RECIPE
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Not waxed paper. Not foil. PARCHMENT. Trust me.
- Shred cheese and mix with seasonings or herbs (Do NOT add salt. Cheese is salty enough.) OR
- Cut cheese into thin slices. (or get the cheese cut "for sandwiches" at the deli in your grocery store)
- Either put little lumps of the shredded cheese (maybe 1 Tbsp or so) or squares of the sandwich slices (about 1/4 or 1/6 of a full slice per cheese crisp) onto the parchment, a couple of inches apart. They will spread as they bake.
- Bake 5-7 minutes or until beginning to brown around the edges.
- Allow to cool, to finish getting crispy.
- Eat! They're great plain or with your favorite dips.

- To begin making Crunchy Baked Cheese Crisps Recipe, preheat Oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- Line two Baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly toast the cumin seeds and then coarsely grind it in a mortar and pestle.
- Add it to the shredded cheese in a bowl. Mix it gently.
- Take two tablespoons of cheese mixture and spread it evenly on the lined baking sheet to form a 4 to 4.5 inch round. Repeat this step for the rest of the mixture leaving a 2-inch gap between the rounds.
- Bake the sheets one by one in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes until it begins to brown slightly. I used mozzarella cheese and it took 6 minutes for me to cook perfectly.
- Take out the baking sheet and lift the cheese using a spatula and fold it gently over a rolling pin or lay it flat on a kitchen paper towel. Allow it to cool complete to become crisp and then serve.

Steps:
- Sprinkle slice of cheese with pinch or whatever seasoning you want.
- Cut slice into 16 pieces.
- Arrange on the outer edges of a flat, non-stick surface such as a silicone bake sheet or parchment paper about 1.5-2 inches apart. If you use a plate, the slanted edges will cause the cheese to run towards the center. Too close and the pieces with melt together.
- Microwave for 1 minute, it will start to look slightly golden.
- Microwave for an additional 30 seconds, checking to make sure it doesn't burn.
- Remove from microwave and non-stick surface. Let cool. The final product isn't very pretty but for a total of two minutes, this recipe is amazing.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Stack the slices of American cheese and cut it into 16 small squares. Separate the pieces, and transfer them to a small bowl. Add the salt, chili powder, and garlic powder toss to combine. Arrange the 32 cheese pieces in 4 rows of 8, on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, leaving as much space in between each as possible.
- Stack the Colby-Jack slices and cut them into about 24 small pieces. Arrange them on another parchment paper-lined baking sheet in 4 rows of 6¿without any seasonings.
- Bake both until well-browned and crispy, about 7 and 7 1/2 minutes. If undercooked, they'll be soggy, so don't be afraid to check them and put them back in for more time, if needed.
- Cool the crisps and crackers completely before serving¿as they cool, they'll crisp up. Store on the counter in an airtight container for a few days.

- Line a microwave safe plate with a piece of parchment paper.
- Slice your jalapeno into slices and remove any seeds.
- Cut your cheese slices into fourths.
- Place the jalapenos onto the parchment paper.
- Arrange the cheese on top of the jalapenos making sure to leave room between the slices so they don't run together.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute to 1/2 minutes until the cheese is crispy looking.
- Remove the parchment paper from the plate and allow the cheese to cool.
- If any of the chips melted together you can carefully break them apart or just enjoy a large chip.
