AMAZING INSTANT POT HAM RECIPE
Not only does it taste amazing, but Instant Pot Ham really is the easiest way to make ham. It takes just 15 minutes to cook, and the reverse sear gives it a super flavorful, crispy, and sticky skin.

Steps:
- Combine 1 cup maple syrup, 1 cup brown sugar, and 3 sliced green onions to a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Add trivet to the bottom of your 6 qt.+ Instant Pot. Pour in 1 cup of orange juice. Place a 5 pound ham on top of the trivet, and cover with ½ of the glaze mixture. Lock the lid in place and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- When 10 minutes is up, carefully release the pressure (use an oven mitt or dish cloth). Carefully lift out of the pot and set aside on a plate. Drain the liquid from the pot.
- Set the Instant Pot to saute mode and melt ½ stick butter.
- Once it melts, add the ham. Sear on each side until browned all over.
- Remove to a plate and slice. On top and in between each slice, evenly cover with the remaining ½ of your glaze mixture. Enjoy!

- Place ham on a trivet and set it inside a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®). Pour crushed pineapple over ham. Sprinkle brown sugar and drizzle maple syrup on top. Secure the lid with vent closed.
- Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 35 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
- Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, 10 to 40 minutes. Remove ham and trivet. Cut ham into slices and place on a plate.
- Select Saute setting on the pressure cooker. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Stir mixture into the pot, bring to a boil, and stir until thickened. Pour sauce over the ham.

- Pressure Cook Ham: Add 1 (14oz or 398ml) can of pineapples and 2 tablespoons (30ml) dijon mustard in Instant Pot. Give it a quick mix. Layer a stainless steel trivet and place ham on top. Bring the sauce back to a simmer by pressing the "Cancel" button, then "Saute" button. Taste and gradually add in brown sugar to desired sweetness. *Pro Tip: You will want it to be quite sweet to balance the salty smoky ham flavor (for reference, we added roughly ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar). Mix 2.5 tbsp (22.5g) cornstarch with 3 tbsp (45ml) cold water in a small mixing bowl. Add the cornstarch mixture one third at a time to thicken the yummy honey pineapple sauce until desired thickness.
- Serve Ham with Honey Pineapple Sauce: Cut the juicy and warmed Instant Pot Ham with a sharp knife and a fork. Serve it with the yummy Honey Pineapple Ham Sauce. Enjoy & happy holidays!~ :)
