Ranch Sauce is perfect dipper on side with Crudities, Potato Wedges, or Buffalo Wings. It is also gluten free.This Ranch Sauce recipe can be easily adapted to make salad dressing. When I serve Ranch Sauce as dip or drizzle on hearty snacks such as wings, potatoes.. I like sauce consistency creamy, thick that coat the potatoes as these are dipped into the sauce. Where as for salad dressing, sauce is best little thin, creamy yet pour-able. It should not weigh-down the delicate greens but make a nice lite creamy coating.To make ranch salad dressing increase the amount of liquid (milk, water) as suggested in notes of Recipe Card. 2 tbsp Dill Leaves
1/4 Cup Sour Cream
2 tbsp Milk, *read notes
1/2 Jalapeno, use 1/4 if prefer less heat
2 tbsp Parsley
1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
1/3 Cup Mayonnaise, **read notes
1 tsp Onion Powder
2 Garlic, cloves

Steps:

  • Prepare Ranch Sauce ingredients - rough chop garlic, remove seed from jalapeno, rough chop fresh parsley and dill leaves.
  • In a food processor jar, add all of the above ingredients (except milk) and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Process to make smooth paste, then add 2 tbsp milk and pulse again to adjust the consistency. (I add 2-5 tbsp to get creamy sauce which is good to dip/coat potatoes. For salad dressing consistency, add more milk).
  • Taste and adjust salt. Transfer sauce to a jar or container with lid. Refrigerate until ready to use.

4 chicken breasts, bone in or boneless
2 Tbsp dry Ranch dressing dip
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar

Steps:

  • Rinse chicken and pat dry
  • Place in a large ziplock bag or deep bowl
  • Mix dry dressing with oil and vinegar and pour over chicken, coating well
  • Seal bag or cover bowl and refrigerate chicken for 2-8 hours
  • Grill over medium heat, basting occasionally with Alabama white sauce, until chicken is done, about 30-45 minutes
  • Serve with additional white sauce on the side
  • Combine ingredients and refrigerate until use
  • Makes 1 1/3 cups

2-1/2 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Italian cheese blend
1-1/4 cups grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
1 cup ranch salad dressing
1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry or 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
2 slices day-old French bread (1/2 inch thick)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Cook pasta according to package directions. , In a large bowl, mix Italian cheese blend, 1 cup Parmesan cheese, sour cream and salad dressing. Drain pasta; add to cheese mixture. Fold in spinach. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish., Tear French bread into pieces; place in a food processor. Cover and pulse until crumbs form. Toss bread crumbs with oil, lemon zest, parsley, garlic salt and remaining Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over pasta mixture., Bake, covered, 25 minutes. Uncover; bake until golden brown and bubbly, 5-10 minutes.

1 beef roast (3-5 lbs--chuck, bottom round, rump or whatever you use)
3 tbsp homemade ranch seasoning mix -OR- 1 envelope store bought
2 tbsp homemade Italian dressing mix -OR- 1 envelope store bought
1 envelope brown gravy mix
2 cups carrots (optional)
6 medium potatoes (cut in half (optional))
1/2 cup water

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix the ranch seasoning, Italian dressing mix and brown gravy mix.
  • Pat roast dry then rub the seasoning mixture over the entire roast.
  • Place in a 5-7 quart slow cooker and pour the water around the roast.
  • Add the carrots and potatoes, if using.
  • Cover and cook on low 7-10 hours, high 4-7 hours. !!TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE AND DEPEND ON THE SHAPE/THICKNESS OF THE ROAST!!
  • To thicken gravy, mix 2 tbs flour with 3 tbs water for EACH cup of pan juice. Place the pan juices in a small saucepan and heat to boiling. Add the flour/water mixture and stir until thick. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer and cook for about 5 minutes
