AIR FRYER HEALTHY WHITE FISH WITH GARLIC & LEMON
There's so many possibilities to this recipe. Air Fry what ever flat white fish you want and choose your favorite spices. If you're cooking a thicker fish like halibut or cod, just add a few minutes extra cooking time. To avoid sticking and tearing of the fish, we like to use perforated parchment/baking paper made for air fryers.

- Pre-heat Air Fryer to 360°F for 5 minutes. Rinse and pat dry the fish filets. Spray or coat with olive oil spray and season with garlic powder, lemon pepper, and/or onion power, salt and pepper. Repeat for both sides.
- To help sticking, lay perforated air fryer baking paper inside base of air fryer. Lightly spray the paper. (if not using a liner, spray enough olive oil spray at the base of the air fryer basket to make sure fish does not stick)
- Lay the fish on top of the paper. Add a few lemon wedges next to fish.Air Fry at 360°F for about 6-12 minutes, or until fish can be flaked with a fork. Timing will depend on how thickness of the filets, how cold the filets are, & individual preference. (optional) Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm with the toasted lemon wedges.

Steps:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Pat tilapia fillets dry using a paper towel. Coat both sides of fish with flour.
- Whisk egg, lemon juice, and salt together in a shallow bowl. Place bread crumbs and lemon-pepper seasoning in a separate shallow bowl.
- Dip flour-coated fish first in egg and then in bread crumb mixture. Press down on the fish so that the bread crumbs stick. Spray both sides of fish with cooking spray.
- Place fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes. Flip fish over using a spatula and cook for 3 minutes more. Serve with lemon wedges.

Steps:
- Now take each fish fillet and dip it into the whisked egg bowl. Coat both sides of the fish evenly.
- Drip any excess egg in the egg bowl.
- Place the egg coated fish in the bread crumbs bowl. Coat both the side evenly.
- Tap off any excess bread crumbs and place the coated fish fillet in a clean plate.
- Similarly, coat all the fish fillet and keep aside.
- Take the air-fryer basket and place 1-2 fish fillet (mine could only accommodate 1 fillet).
- Spray with olive oil and turn On the Air-Fryer at 350f for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, turn the fish upside down and air-fry again for 5 minutes to brown the other side.
- Once the fish is golden brown on both sides, remove and place on clean plate.
- Similarly, air-fry all the remaining fish fillet.
- Once everything is cooked, serve the fish fillet with Cucumber Avocado Salad.

- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 3 minutes.
- While fryer is preheating, rinse tilapia fillets and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Combine lemon zest, olive oil, pepper, salt, and garlic in a bowl. Rub spice mixture over the tilapia. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the filets inside, coated side up.
- Air fry until fish can be flaked with a fork, 7 to 10 minutes. Do not crowd the fish filets; you may need to fry a second batch, depending on the size of your air fryer.

- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- Mix together the grated Parmesan, lemon pepper, parsley and salt. Drizzle the tilapia with olive oil, then coat with the cheese mixture, pressing it in lightly with your fingers to make sure it sticks. sprinkle lightly with shredded parmesan. Transfer to foil lined baking sheet.
- Bake until the fish is opaque in the thickest part, about 10 minutes.
- To brown further, broil for about 5 more minutes until cheese crust is slightly crispy (watch carefully to make sure fish doesn't burn)

- Set up 3 shallow dishes (I used pie dishes). Place the flour in one dish. Crack the egg into another and whisk the eggs really well. In the third dish, combine the cheese, paprika, lemon zest, salt and pepper and combine.
