AIR FRYER CAKE RECIPE

- Prepare the ingredients - Using a weighing scale, measure out the ingredients.Prepare the cake pan - Lightly grease the cake pan with butter and line with parchment paper. Set aside.Preheat Air Fryer - Preheat at a temperature of 150C.
- In the mixing bowl, add butter and sugar then mix with the electric mixer till it's light and fluffy. This is called creaming.
- When the butter and sugar is well creamed, add in the eggs and milk then mix with the electric hand mixer.Add in the flour and baking powder and mix till smooth.
- Pour the cake batter in the prepared cake pan.
- Put the cake pan in the preheated air fryer and bake at a temperature of 150C for 30 minutes.
- Insert cake tester or skewer in the cake and if it comes out clean, the cake is done. Bring it out of the air fryer.If the skewer is wet, bake for more minutes.
- Turn the cake on a cooling rack and leave to completely cool.
- Cut and serve or decorate with buttercream icing or chocolate frosting.

This is a basic butter cake; the trickiest bit was finding a cake tin to fit in the air fryer. I went with a ring tin, which works really well and makes it cook even quicker. Top with confectioners' sugar.

- Preheat an air fryer to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Spray a small fluted tube pan with cooking spray.
- Beat butter and 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar together in a bowl using an electric mixer until light and creamy. Add egg and mix until smooth and fluffy. Stir in flour and salt. Add milk and mix batter thoroughly. Transfer batter to the prepared pan; use the back of a spoon to level the surface.
- Place the pan in the air fryer basket. Set the timer for 15 minutes. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
- Turn cake out of pan and allow to cool, about 5 minutes.

- Preheat an air fryer to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C). Spray a small fluted tube pan with cooking spray.
- Beat sugar and butter together in a bowl using an electric mixer until light and creamy. Add egg and jam; mix until combined. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix thoroughly. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Level the surface of the batter with the back of a spoon.
- Place pan in the air fryer basket. Cook until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out cleanly, about 15 minutes.

- Preheat air fryer to 325°. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, butter and sugar. Pat into the bottom and 1 in. up the sides of an 8-in. springform pan that fits into the air fryer. Chill while preparing filling. , For filling, beat cream cheese and eggs in a bowl on medium speed for 1 minute. Add 1/3 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and salt. Continue beating until well blended, about 1 minute. Pour into crust. , Cook until center is almost set, 25-30 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. For topping, combine the sour cream and remaining sugar and vanilla in a small bowl; spread over cheesecake. Cook 15 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack 10 minutes. Loosen sides from pan with a knife. Cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. If desired, serve with whipped cream.
