Steps:
- Remove the membrane: Peel off the silverskin from the back of the ribs.
- Cut the rack of pork ribs into 2-3 sections so that it can fit into your air fryer basket.
- Make the spice rub: In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper and cumin.
- Season the baby back ribs: Pat the ribs dry and rub the ribs on all sides with the spice rub.
- Cook the ribs in the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F/190°C for a few minutes. Once hot, place the ribs into the basket with the meat side down and cook for 15 minutes. (It's important to let the air fryer to heat up first to avoid the ribs from sticking to the basket.)
- Flip the ribs using kitchen tongs, and cook for 10 more minutes at 375°F/190°C.
- Make the BBQ sauce: While the ribs are cooking, you can add bbq sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat until the sugar and salt are completely dissolved.
- Brush with BBQ sauce: Remove the basket from the air fryer and brush generously with barbecue sauce on all sides.
- Place the basket back in the air fryer and cook for 3-5 more minutes at 400°F/200°C, or until the sauce has set and darkened slightly. (It may take more or less time based on the thickness or your ribs)
- Remove the ribs from the basket and let them rest for 5 minutes so that the juices can redistribute through the meat. Feel free to brush with more barbeque sauce if you like.

- Mix all the ingredients for seasoning together. Season the ribs with the spices.
- Cut the rack of ribs into sections 4-5 ribs to fit the air fryer.
- Cook the ribs in the air fryer for 20 to 40 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the rib thickens as well as your air fryer.
- After the ribs are done, you may brush some BBQ sauce and pop in the air fryer for 5 more minutes, but it is not necessary. I like brushing just the leftover drippings for more flavorful ribs.If you do not want to add BBQ sauce then just allow the ribs to rest for about 10 min so the juices could go back.

Steps:
- Cut the pork rib into quarters and combine pork ribs, all the sauces and garlic in the 2 large sandwich bags. Zip-lock the bags and massage the sauce and garlic into the pork ribs.
- Let the pork ribs marinade in the sauces for at least 2 hours. For best flavours leave the pork ribs in the marinade over night.
- Pre-heat the air fryer with a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 2 minutes.
- Spray some oil in the Air Fryer basket. Alternatively, you can use Air Fryer parchment paper.
- Pull the air fryer basket out after the pre-heating is completed. Make sure to use tongs, as the air fryer basket is hot after the pre-heating, and place the pork ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Drizzle some of the remaining marinade over the pork ribs so that it just covers the surface. Ensure that the pork ribs are not drenched in sauce because the sauce can burn in the air fryer.
- Set the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 25 minutes. Then place the basket back into the air fryer for cooking.
- In the meantime, in a small bowl mix the honey with the water.
- When the timer has reached 25 minutes pull the air fryer basket out and glaze the pork ribs with honey water mixture.
- Place the pork ribs back into the air fryer and set the temperature at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 5 minutes.
- Pull out the air fryer basket when the air fryer has finished cooking and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Take the pork ribs out with tongs and cut along the ribs. Serve with your favourite sides (look at serving suggestions above for some ideas).
