AIR FRIED BEER BATTERED FISH
Beer Battered Fish and Chips is an all-time favorite British meal. Though it is usually deep-fried, now you can make it with less guilt by air-frying your beer battered cod. So easy and tasty - perfect with some air fried chips and malt vinegar.

- Combine the 1 cup of flour, cornstarch and baking soda in a large bowl. Add the beer and egg and stir until smooth. Cover the bowl of batter with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
- Combine the ¾ cup of flour, paprika, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper in a shallow dredging pan.
- Make sure your pieces of fish are at least 1 to 1½ inches thick so they don't dry out in the air fryer. Pat the cod fish fillets dry with a paper towel. Dip the fish into the batter, coating all sides. Let the excess batter drip off and then coat each fillet with the seasoned flour. Sprinkle any leftover flour on the fish fillets and pat gently to adhere the flour to the batter.
- Pre-heat the air fryer to 390°F.
- Generously spritz both sides of the coated fish filets with vegetable oil and place them in the air fryer basket. Air-fry for 12 minutes at 390ºF. Spritz with more oil during the cooking process if there are any dry spots on the coating.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges, malt vinegar and tartar sauce. It's perfect with some air-fried French fries and coleslaw too!

BEER BATTER FISH MADE GREAT

- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Rinse fish, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, 2 teaspoons salt, and 2 teaspoons pepper. Stir egg into dry ingredients. Gradually mix in beer until a thin batter is formed. You should be able to see the fish through the batter after it has been dipped.
- Dip fish fillets into the batter, then drop one at a time into hot oil. Fry fish, turning once, until both sides are golden brown. Drain on paper towels, and serve warm.

- In a large mixing bowl, mix all of the beer batter ingredients, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix the flour dredge.
- Cut your fish into equal-sized portions.
- Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
- Dip the fish pieces into the beer batter, shake off the excess, and then place them in the flour dredge. Use your hands to really make sure the fish is coated.e sure the fish is coated.

- Cut Cod into fillets, about 3-4 inches long each.
- Mix together 1 cup of flour, corn starch, baking soda, egg and beer in a medium size bowl.

- Dip the cod fillets into the beer batter, then into the flour.

- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
- Peel and then cut the potatoes lengthwise into thick slices that are about 1/2 inch thick. Pat them dry.
- Place the potato slices into a large bowl and drizzle with the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
- Cook the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer for 7-10 minutes, toss the fries and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes (or until the fries have reached your desired crispness). [Note: You will likely need to do multiple batches in order to cook all the fries. Do not overcrowd your air fryer or they will not get crispy.]
- Cut the white fish into filets that are about 4 inches each.
- In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of the all-purpose flour with the cornstarch, baking soda, egg, and beer. You should have a thick batter.
- In another bowl, combine the remaining flour with the salt, pepper, old bay, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Dip each filet of white fish first into the flour mixture so that they are all coated.
- Then use tongs to dip each filet into the beer batter, gently shaking off any excess batter, and then into the flour mix again, making sure to evenly coat each side.
- Finally, recoat the filet in the batter and place it on a piece of greased aluminum foil cut to fit your air fryer basket.

- Add oil to a large, heavy bottomed pot or deep fryer till it's about 2 to 3 inches deep. Heat oil to 375 degrees F.
- Meanwhile, cut fish into stick shapes, about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long. Pat dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- To make the beer batter, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika and seasoned salt. Stir in the lightly beaten egg, then gradually whisk in the beer until the batter forms and is no longer lumpy.
