Ingredients

3 cups peeled, seeded watermelon, diced
1/2 cup sugar, or as needed
Lime wedges, for garnish

Steps:

Puree the diced watermelon with 4 cups cold water in blender. Blend until smooth, and then pour into a pitcher - any ground seeds should remain in the bottom. Add 6 cups cold water and sweeten with sugar, as needed. Garnish with lime wedges.

My DH is from Mexico and this is a staple there on hot days. The first time I tried it I was hooked (didn't even get sick from the water...lol). This is a great change for those hot days, just drink and enjoy.

Ingredients

4 1/2 lbs watermelon, whole, plus
3 cups chopped watermelon
3 quarts water
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 quarts ice cubes

Steps:

Remove rind from watermelon, and cut into chunks.
In batches, blend water, sugar, watermelon and ice in a blender.
Pour into a large pitcher.
