This is a unique twist on two favorites: pizza and cheeseburgers! It is super fast to make, and you can easily add your favorite burger toppings such as lettuce and tomato. This is a family favorite and disappears fast!

¾ pound ground beef chuck
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
⅔ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
1 (14 ounce) pre-baked pizza crust
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
½ cup chopped onions
½ cup dill pickle slices
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef, salt, and pepper in the hot skillet until meat is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
  • Mix ketchup and mustard in a bowl; spread mixture over pizza crust. Spread mozzarella cheese and Cheddar cheese over ketchup mixture and top with beef and onions. Transfer pizza to a large baking sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Top with pickles and allow pizza to cool for 5 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce and tomatoes before slicing and serving.

1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough (such as Pillsbury®)
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
⅛ cup prepared yellow mustard
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
¾ cup chopped dill pickles

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; unroll pizza dough over the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook and stir beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain.
  • Mix mayonnaise and mustard together in a small bowl. Spread over the parbaked crust. Layer beef-onion mixture, Cheddar cheese, and pickles on top.
  • Return to the oven and bake until crust is dark golden brown, 6 to 10 minutes.

1/4 teaspoon salt
1 prebaked 12-inch thin pizza crust
1/2 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup sliced dill pickles

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat, until no longer pink, 6-8 minutes, breaking into crumbles; drain. Sprinkle beef with salt., Place crust on an ungreased pizza pan or baking sheet; spread with salad dressing. Top with beef, onion and cheese., Bake 6-8 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with lettuce and pickles just before serving.

1/2 lb lean hamburger
1/2 lb Italian sausage (I use hot.)
1 chopped green pepper
1 medium chopped onion
1 clove chopped garlic
barilla marinara sauce or your favorite pasta sauce
3 -4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
sliced Velveeta cheese, 1/4 inch thick
1 your favorite recipe for pizza dough, enough to cover a jelly roll pan.

Steps:

  • Brown the burger, sausage, green pepper, onion, and garlic until the meat is fully cooked.
  • While this is cooking, spread/pat/roll your crust unto a greased jelly roll pan, pushing the dough up the sides to make an edge.
  • Prebake the crust in a 400 oven for 7-10 minutes or until it just begins to color.
  • Top the hot crust with the desired amount of pasta sauce.
  • (I don't like too much sauce on my pizza) Add the meat mixture, spreading evenly.
  • Top with the sliced Velveeta cheese, leaving about 1/2 inch between slices.
  • Add the mozzarella cheese in an even layer.
  • Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes, or until the top layer of cheese begins to brown.
  • Allow to sit for 5 minutes before cutting into 12 squares.

1 tablespoon yellow mustard, plus more for serving
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
All-purpose flour, for dusting
1 pound refrigerated pizza dough
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
2 cups shredded American cheese (about 8 ounces)1/4 whole dill pickle, sliced into thin rounds
1/4 small red onion, finely diced, then rinsed and drained
Ketchup, for serving
Shredded lettuce, for serving, optional

Steps:

  • Place a baking stone or inverted large baking sheet on the lowest rack of the oven and preheat to 450 degrees F.
  • Cook the beef in a medium skillet over medium heat just until no longer pink, about 4 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the beef to paper towels to drain and let cool 5 minutes. Put the cooled beef in a bowl, stir in the mustard to coat and sprinkle with some salt and pepper.

My kids LOVED this and next to me, they are the pickiest eaters ever. I used the Boboli thin style crust and colby cheese (our preference). ** As stated in reviews, this makes quite a bit for 1 crust. It would be best to use 2 crusts or half the recipe.

The secret to this delicious pizza is to pre-bake your crust firstly and brown your beef well, then top as stated in directions and bake just to heat through and until the cheese has melted. This is a hearty pizza that can be made using store-bought refrigerated pizza dough or homemade, just make certain to pre-bake the crust before topping. This can also be made using a store-bought Boboli pizza crust. The success of this recipe will also depend on your pizza sauce, I use my recipe#65641 it is a hearty full-flavored pizza sauce that works well for this recipe and of coarse any pizza! You can add in some green bell peppers and jalapeno peppers to the ground beef mixture also if desired. The ingredient amounts are enough for one 12-inch pizza, you can double the complete recipe to make two if desired.
