Cute little treats all on their own or a fun decoration for your cupcakes! Enjoy as is or use to decorate cupcakes. If you are good at piping try adding some colored leaves made of frosting to the top of the Nilla® Wafer.

1 tablespoon prepared chocolate frosting
24 milk chocolate candy kisses (such as Hershey's Kisses®), unwrapped
24 mini vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla®)
24 butterscotch chips

Steps:

Smear a small amount of frosting onto the flat bottom of a candy kiss. Press onto the flat bottom of the vanilla wafer. Smear a little more frosting onto the flat bottom of a butterscotch chip, and press onto the rounded top of the cookie. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Set aside to dry, about 30 minutes.

Hershey's Kisses Brand Milk Chocolates or Hershey's Kisses Brand Pumpkin Spice Flavored Candies
Mini vanilla wafer cookies
Reese's Peanut Butter Chips or Hershey's Butterscotch Chips

Steps:

Prepare royal icing and place in pastry bag with small tip. Remove wrappers from candies. Place mini vanilla wafer cookies on tray or plate with flat side of cookie toward the top. Squeeze small amount of icing onto bottom of candy piece. Immediately press candy bottom onto vanilla wafer cookie. Allow icing to set. Place small dab of icing on bottom of peanut butter chip or butterscotch chip; immediately attach to top of cookie to finish acorn. ROYAL ICING Stir together 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon warm water and 1-1/2 teaspoons pasteurized dried egg whites, meringue powder. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until spreadable. Add additional water, 1 teaspoon at a time, to get desired consistency. Transfer icing to pastry bag with desired tip. Cover icing and tip of pastry bag with damp paper towel to keep icing from drying out. About 1/2 cup icing.

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup ground pecans

Steps:

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, milk and extract. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or until easy to handle., Divide the dough in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each portion to 1/4-in. thickness. Cut with 2-1/2-in. acorn cookie cutter. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. , Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until edges are firm. Remove to wire racks to cool completely., In a microwave, melt chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Spread chocolate over the stem and cap of each acorn, leaving about a 1/4-in. border. Sprinkle pecans over chocolate. Pipe remaining chocolate in a criss-cross pattern over each acorn. Let stand until firm.
