- Whisk red wine vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed, and green onions in a salad bowl until sugar and salt have dissolved. Toss coleslaw mix with dressing. Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours.

- Whisk first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Mix in green onions. Add coleslaw mix; toss.

I adjusted this one from other recipes to make it my own and now everyone I make it for wants the recipe. Super easy, very tasty. Easy to double.

Steps:
- Slice cabbages into thin shreds, place in large both. (Don't worry if it looks to full, this will shrink in volume once dressing is added.).
- Grate carrots and add to bowl with cabbage.
- *Feel free to use a food processor for the above directions to save some time, make sure to use the slicing & grating disks.
- In a small bowl whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt & pepper until smooth.
- Pour over cabbage & carrot mixture. Stir slowly until coated. Let stand 5 minutes or until it looses a bit of volume.
- Note: This dressing also works great for a bag of coleslaw mix, it is dryer than fresh cabbage so it soaks up more dressing.
- If not serving right away, refrigerate for up to 2 days for fresh or 1 day for bagged.
