5 LAYER DIP
I am always asked to bring this dip. Everyone just loves it. I adaped it from another recipe but I really don't remeber how I came up with it.

Steps:
- Pre heat the oven at 400 degrees.
- Take a 9 inch pie plate and spread the cream cheese on the bottom.
- Next spread the refied beans on top of the cream cheese.
- Spread the salsa on top of the refried beans.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the salsa.
- Finally sprinkle the black olives on top of the shredded cheese.
- Bake in the pre heated oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Steps:
- In medium bowl, mix refried beans and salsa. On 12- or 13-inch serving plate or pizza pan, spread bean mixture in thin layer.
- Spread sour cream over bean mixture, leaving about 1-inch border of beans around edge. Spread guacamole over sour cream, leaving border of sour cream showing.
- Sprinkle cheese over guacamole. Sprinkle onions over cheese. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve with tortilla chips.

A friend sent me this recipe! A creamy base is layered with cocktail sauce, veggies, seafood and cheese. It's a total crowd pleaser and will be a hit at any gathering.

- In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise.
- In the bottom of an approximately 12 inch round serving dish, spread the cream cheese mixture. Pour cocktail sauce evenly over the mixture. Layer with green bell pepper, green onions and tomato. Top with crabmeat and shrimp. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving.

LAYERED SHRIMP APPETIZER
Here is a great make-ahead-of-the-big-event seafood appetizer which tastes delicious and is appealing to the eye. This will be a hit with your family and friends! I promise. - 1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and garlic. Mix with an electric mixer until all is thoroughly blended together.
- 2. Spread the mixture on bottom of a glass 8X8X2 (or slightly larger) serving dish.
- 3. Pour and spread bottle of Shrimp Cocktail Sauce atop the cheese and spice, herb mix. Next, drain any excess water from your clean, cooked, thawed shrimp and place on top of the cocktail sauce.
- 4. Now add all fresh vegetables atop your shrimp and top off with the finely shredded mozzarella cheese mixed with pimento and sliced ripe olives. (I do not usually use the pimento and ripe olives unless it for a fancy party.) GARNISH with the reserved shrimp sprinkled atop the Mozzarella dish. (Please do not forget this step because some people are allergic to shellfish.) Chill and serve with Ritz Crackers or crackers of your choice.
- 5. *OPTIONAL* If you do not have Shrimp Cocktail Sauce, but you have chili sauce, substitute it and serve with tortilla chips, corn chips etc...
5-LAYER SEAFOOD APPETIZER
This makes a pretty presentation at a cocktail party, and everyone loves it. Definitely best if made with fresh shrimp or crab. For overnight ballgame trips, I often take each layer prepared in separate bags or plastic containers, and assemble the morning before the football games.

Steps:
- Boil shrimp just until pink.
- Drain and set aside.
- Bottom Layer- Mix all ingredients and spread in shallow serving dish.
- I use a round one with a flat bottom and shallow sides.
- Second layer- Spread chili sauce over bottom layer.
- Third Layer- Press cucumber between paper towels to remove all excess moisture.
- Sprinkle cucumbers and onions over Chili sauce layer.
- Fourth layer- sprinkle shrimp over veggies.
- Finally, sprinkle cheese and jalapeno peppers on top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill.
- Serve with crackers and a spreading knife.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place bacon halves in a single layer on old baking sheet or baking sheet that has been covered with aluminum foil. Place in the oven and bake for 7-8 minutes. Move partially cooked bacon to paper towels to drain.
- 2. Meanwhile in a small saucepan combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, ketchup and garlic. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 3. Wrap a piece of bacon around each shrimp and secure with a toothpick. Place them in a single layer on the baking sheet that you cooked the bacon on. Brush the shrimp with the spicy sweet sauce and place in the oven. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, flip them, and baste them again. Bake for 5 more minutes.
- 4. Remove from the oven and baste again. Place under the broiler on high for 2-3 minutes rotating the baking sheet several times. Stay close by as broilers are unpredictable and can easily burn the shrimp.
