Delicious, flavorful jambalaya in only 15 minutes? You got it. Our easy weeknight version stars turkey smoked sausage and stewed tomatoes over hot rice.

2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 cup water
6-1/2 oz. (1/2 of 13-oz. pkg.) OSCAR MAYER Natural Uncured Turkey Sausage, sliced
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
2 cups instant white rice, uncooked

Steps:

  • Bring all ingredients except rice to boil in large skillet on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Simmer on medium-low heat 1 to 2 min. or until bouillon is completely dissolved, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in rice; cover. Cook 5 min.
  • Fluff with fork.

1 cup instant rice
1 lb hillshire farm smoked sausage or 1 lb polska kielbasa, cut into 2 in. pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped green peppers
1/2 cup sliced celery
1 (8 ounce) can tomatoes
4 drops hot pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Pam cooking spray, butter favor

Steps:

  • Cook rice according to package directions.
  • While rice is cooking, coat inside of large skillet with Pam according to directions.
  • Heat skillet over medium heat. Add sausage, onion, green pepper, and celery. Saute' until vegetables are tender.
  • Add tomatoes, hot pepper sauce, and pepper. Drain cooked rice and stir into sausage mixture.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring frequently until thoroughly heated. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

15 minutes is all you need to prepare a skillet filled with delicious Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya. I'll show you how to quickly cook this cajun comfort food dinner using simple short cuts so you have dinner on the table in no time.

2 8.5 ounce Ready Rice
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 lb Shrimp (13 - 15 count)
1 lb Kielbasa Sausage (sliced)
8 ounces Holy Trinity (green bell peppers, celery, onion)
2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
1 15 ounce Can Crushed Tomatoes
1 cup Rotisserie Chicken (shredded)
2 teaspoons Hot Sauce
2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

Steps:

  • Microwave the rice for 90 seconds or according to the package directions and set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the shrimp in 1 layer (Note: make sure to thaw the shrimp before starting the recipe). Cook for 1 minute and flip to the other side for 1 additional minute. Use a slotted spoon to remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add the sausage and Holy Trinity mix to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 4 minutes.
  • Next add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 30 seconds, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the crushed tomatoes, chicken, hot sauce, cajun seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5 more minutes, stirring, until the mixture begins to thicken. Add additional seasoning if desired.
