1 can (10-1/2 oz.) chicken broth
1 cup frozen cut green beans
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1-1/2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
2 Tbsp. sliced almonds, toasted

Steps:

  • Combine broth, beans, soy sauce and garlic powder in medium saucepan. Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
  • Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 5 min. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min.
  • Fluff rice mixture with fork. Sprinkle with almonds.

Steps:

  • Boil salted water. Add green beans. Cook until tender crisp. Drain and set aside.
  • Saute butter, olive oil, and garlic in large sauce pan for two minutes. Add rice, beans, salt, and pepper. Saute until heated through.
