Cheesy Salsa Dip made with cream cheese, salsa, sour cream and cheddar cheese. This cream cheese salsa dip is baked and served warm with chips for an easy appetizer everyone loves!

8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup salsa
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients together and place in a pie pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes and serve warm with tortilla chips.

The cream cheese gives this a bit of a sweet tangy taste you don't have in most salsa dips. Pick a salsa you like since that is where most of the flavor comes from. If you like a hotter taste you can always add additional hot sauce. I recommend using a crock pot to keep it warm while serving.

8 ounces Velveeta cheese
8 ounces salsa

Steps:

  • Melt cream cheese and Velveeta. Add salsa.
  • If using a slow cooker, it's going to take much longer to melt, so plan at least 2 hours for mixing.

1 cup salsa (as hot and chunky as you like!)
1/2 cup Mexican blend cheese, shredded (Kraft Tex Mex)
2 tablespoons green onions, sliced or 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Steps:

  • Spread cream cheese onto microwaveable plate; top with salsa and shredded cheese.
  • Microwave on high 45 seconds to 1 minute or until shredded cheese is melted. Sprinkle with onions or cilantro.

1 (16 ounce) jar salsa (we use medium, buy you can use hot or mild)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Simple way: Put all ingredients in a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes on high.
  • Stir and put back in for 1 minute.
  • Stir and serve warm or store in fridge.
  • Fancy way:.
  • Spread cream cheese on the bottom of an 9x9 glass baking dish until covered.
  • Spread salsa over cream cheese.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over salsa.
  • Melt in microwave on high for about 3 minutes, or until cheese is completely melted on top.
  • This creates a nice layered look and is pretty on a table.
